Pros: Works as advertised in the Asus Rampage Extreme IV. Fit under the Noctua NH-D14 without any issues.

Cons: None that I can think of, runs excellent at advertised speeds and settings. No hassle.

Nice Looking, Dead after 18 Months

Pros: Looks nice, somewhat quiet - Modular.

Cons: Died after 18 Months. Funds are tight and am not able to run out for a replacement at this time. Am 3 days into waiting for some return contact on trying to get it RMA'd. At this time am now finding their website is down/not loading. Anyone know a phone number to try and contact them at?

Overall Review: Bought this with a GT1000 case/PS combo. Love the case, sorely sorry that am now without my primary PC and wish I would have purchased a different PS when I had the funds to do so, as it sits, I really need the PC right now, but can not afford $100.00 plus purchase for a week or two. At the rate of the RMA and previous comments, am very concerned about ever getting it RMA'd. If you can, avoid this one - although, the GT-1000 case, I love that, very heavy duty aluminum - its nick name is the hulk.

Great Case

SilverStone Fortress Series FT02B-USB3.0 Black Aluminum / Steel Computer Case with 2 x USB3.0 ports (Black)

Pros: Silent - Quality construction - Big! Love the case, everything about it screams quality. Really like the layout and cables coming out the top rear. Keeps everything clean. Everything runs very quiet. Case does fit the Rampage Extreme IV /w Noctua NH-D14

Cons: None that I can find, Price is a little high, but you get what you pay for.

No Issues

ASUS Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011 Intel X79 USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011 Intel X79 USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Board Works great out of the box. Was a little worried based upon other reviews here, but the item I received was brand new, never been opened, no bent pins, booted right up, no memory issues, all in all couldn't be happier.

Cons: None that I can speak to.. Was a great upgrade to an older X48 Rampage w/ an E8400 OC to 4 Ghz. Be sure to check out the ROG Forums on the Asus website, play close attention to the RAM threads.

For a Toshiba Laptop

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model F2-5300CL5D-4GBSA

Pros: This was Purchased for a Toshiba Satellite A215 series laptop. Worked well and happy with the performance (see other thoughts).

Cons: None - Price was right.

Overall Review: This laptop originally had a bios version of 1.30, upon installing the new G.Skill ram the machine would not let me into the bios (f2 and f12 options not available) nor would the OS load. PC would boot through bios, but leave me at a blinking cursor in upper left corner, unable to boot to CD, USB, or HD. Updated the bios to the latest version for the laptop (2.0?), using the original ram, once confirmed bios working correctly, reinstalled the new G.skill ram. Bios behaved correctly (F2 and F12 options available again). Ran 8 hours on memtest with out any issues - Also boots to the OS with out any problems. For Toshiba owners - make sure you have the latest bios, and it could still be a gamble by not running the Toshiba perfer'd Kingston brand. Well worth the savings in this case with an excellent outcome.

Pros: With help from NewEgg's Chat help desk, I was able to reach Zalman via their 800 number. In attempting to contact them I reached a man named Tim - Tim informed me they are aware of the issues with the PS's and they have a new revision of it out. He was extremely help full in getting the product RMA'd and provided me with a few options in case I would not be satisfied with same unit replacement. Over all - After speaking with Tim and understanding more about the company, my faith has been restored.

Cons: Am still a little nervous about the replacement power supply. Discussing this further with Tim from ZalmanUSA per his statements he has yet to see one that has gone bad and also taken out other PC components. Most of the problems they had with the one batch involved low voltage/causes reboots, etc.

Overall Review: I will do business with ZalmanUSA again - I love the Case I received and having now worked with them on an RMA issue, much of what is posted on forums and reviews is not entirely accurate. Tim was very concerned over a 40 min call that I was satisfied with how things are to work out. He answered the questions in an educated and competent manor while expressing concern the entire time. Thinking back to how bad that call could have been, I will again state that I will continue doing business with ZalmanUSA.
