4 years, 4 months STRONG
Pros: This PSU has never failed me ONCE in the past 4 years. With all the crazy weather in Alabama, with power outages and what not, this PSU has withstood many a trial through me. I've toted my case throughout college, taking home to LAN parties. It's got mileage, but I feel I could keep using it for years to come. Rosewill may not be your first option for certain things, but their power supplies have great performance and a re reliable. Also loved the Blue LED. Went with my Black and Blue theme perfectly.
Post 2 years with extended use - working fine
Pros: -Lot of space - decent write speed - Has lasted past 2 years
Cons: - now that it has been 2 years, it makes a bit of noise when the computer boots up. But the noise goes away after the drive warms up. Doesn't bother me.
Overall Review: I am a music producer and gamer. I have many large VST libraries, like Kontakt Komplete Ultimate, Omnisphere, etc. On top of that I have a bunch of games installed. Steam, Blizzard, Microsofts' game pass, etc. Games run great. Files are accessed quick by my DAW. Great drive. Will back it up soon as I don't want to risk losing it all.
4 years, 4 months NEVER FAIL
Pros: This card has lasted the test of time. Not only did it have amazing performance for its price back in 2011, but it has not failed or crashed on me once. I bought 2 and eventually ran SLI in which performance doubled and I never had any problems. Only with some driver problems in some games, but that is fixable. Well done EVGA, hopefully your cards have maintained the same level of dependability and performance since I have bought this.
4 years 4 months, no problems
Pros: I just wanted to write a review about this board and about ASRock. I bought this mobo for a budget gaming pc long ago in 2011. I had next-gen and budget in mind. They weren't a well-known company at the time, but their board had so many features and a great price, so I bought it. All the usb ports (including 3.0) have worked, the LAN experience has been great, the sound is good, the read/write speeds were decent, and it stayed alive throughout my constant hours of gaming, streaming, and music recording. ASRock is now well'known and I will stick with their motherboards for many times to come.
Cons: It has not ONCE given me any problems.
Overall Review: The build I created consisted of: Intel i5-2500k Sandy Bridge Quad Core Turbo EVGA Superclocked Nvidia Geforce GTX 560ti ASRock p67 Extreme 6 G SKILL Ripjaws X series 8GB Rosewill 1000W Bronze series Continuous Samsung Spinpoint 1TB 7200 RPM NZXT LEXA S all parts have since creation ran beautifully
Pros: This case has plenty of storage options for any pc enthusiast, with multiple bays for both SSD and HD. The cable management is easy, and the overall airflow is great, moving from the bottom left corner (where your PSU is) upward along the cpu sink and outward towards the front fan. The lighting effects are awesome. The front-opening door can be a great plus, and just add's to it's spunky-ness and character. The glass door provides decent vision to the inside of your case, showing off your goods. FAN CONTROLLERS and usb ports on the side of the case by the front door and of course the back.
Cons: Can get very dusty if your like me and have it sitting close to the gorund where there is carpet. And I get cold a lot so I'm moving my blanket to and fro, creating a lot of dust. Luckily I clean the case every month so the dust does not build up. Also, depending on your set up location, the case's front door may open with the door coming out and facing you. It's not that bad for me since I am reaching at it from an angle, but if it was on top of my desk or elevated it'd be a hassle to hook my arm around just to open a disc drive. Other than that though, no other cons!
Overall Review: My mobo (ASROCK p67 Extreme 6) came with a usb 3.0 front panel thing, and the case has a perfect spot in the front of the case in between the power and reset buttons for it! Not sure what the dimensions are, maybe 3.5" by 1" by the look of it. The lighting is just great. I matched all my equipment to have blue lights; keyboard, mouse, extra case fan from rosewill, and even my PSU... it all glows blue. At night the illumination is grand. Also, I've been laptop-less for a while and whenever I go home from school on vacation, I carry my case around in it's box that it came in. It does well protecting all the stuff inside, and has not given me any general problems. It is a great case!
