Cons: Cons: PCI slot, not PCIe. Realtek Lan (8111E) instead of Intel on HIgher end boards. No speaker (for Bios error codes - oh wait, this is UEFI bios, maybe that's why?) No USB3 (but I don't need it.) Capacitors seem cheaper than what I'm used to with Gigabyte boards. They don't look like the Quality Japanese caps from other Gigabytes.

Overall Review: Other: Streams 1080p no problem, as expected.

Pros: I'm coming back just shy of 2 and a half years after buying this unit, to add that it died after 24/7 use for that length of time. RMA process was pretty painless. Looks like they sent me a new unit.

Cons: I wish it lasted longer.

Pros: super high definition image. Stream live view to remote ( or local ) computer or cell phone (using Synology Diskstation software) Power over Ethernet means just one cable to run. Easy mounting. Weatherproof ethernet connection provided. ( POE injector available separately.)

Cons: A little drama to get it connected to my network, but once connected, it stays connected -- Except in the case of an electrical brownout. Then my Synology Surveillance Station software locked up without returning any errors, and required a reboot. But that appears to be related to the Synology DSM and not to this camera, from what I can tell.

Overall Review: The Synology Diskstation's Surveillance Station software does not have drivers for this camera yet ( December 2013 ), so there's a bit of drama involved to get the motion detection working from the camera instead of from the DSM. Pros: Cheap, Small. Simple, Clean Design, Doesn't look like a gamer's case. USB 3.0 Comes with a mobo speaker. Whole case painted black, including the back and the inside.

Cons: Cheap, Small. Thin metal. Power button near the bottom of the case - should be near the top where I can reach it. No handle to lift the thing, like a Mac Pro has. PSU mounts on the top where it creates heat. (This is an overclocked hackintosh build.)

Overall Review: I cut a hole in the top to mount a "Black Medium ATA Flight Road Case Deep Recessed Handle" (bought on the bay auction site.) I'm going to cut holes in the bottom to mount two 120mm or 140mm fans there (they'll block the last PCIe expansion slot on the Mobo, but I don't need it.)

Pros: cheap. Lasted 3 years, approx one in service.

Cons: cheap. Even though it mostly just sat in a cupboard for years, it failed when put into use after only about a year of daily use. I bought this on a Newegg Shell Shocker deal, but I would have done better to just suck it up and pay the extra money to buy a reputable brand.
