Pros: As a backup, there are none better. This SSD hold my M.2 Backup.
Overall Review: Have a 4 year old 850 and its still chugging along. This SSD won't get a lot of pounding as it is for backups only.
Pros: Had to do it as the Windows 7 and 8.1 will soon be gone.
Cons: Forced upgrade
Overall Review: Works as its supposed to. At least until the next "update". I'm worried
Pros: Very good and very fast. I have others and they are, up to now, very reliable. Fastest boot up, never an issue.
Cons: None, so far
Overall Review: I like the M.2 versions, because the in/out read/write is so fast.
Pros: This card replaces a 3 X GTX 970 SLI arrangement. It makes the overall weight of the system much lighter, with added benefit of a potential VR rig. It is doing very well.
11 GB of onboard is about the same as the previous SLI arrangement.
Cons: NONE so far. Only been running it for about one week.
Overall Review: If you are looking for a quality video card, however a bit pricy, then look no further.
Pros: Newegg is the greatest. Replaced a bent chip. Now it posts and runs like a champ.
Cons: First one I got was defective. Newegg replaced it. Got the returned replacement from Cali to East coast in a 10 day turnaround.
Overall Review: Newegg continues to prove to buy you stuff only from them..No arguments.
Pros: Perfect addition to Asus ROG GL553
Overall Review: If you need to double your memory footprint for an Asus ROG GL553 Notebook this is the stick for you.
Pros: Small, works as expected. No complaints
Overall Review: This charger is somewhat different than the one that came with the computer. This one failed after 6 years of faithful service. Hope the new will be as good over the very long run.
Pros: This card is clearly the very best card on the market for the money...bar none! It comes already clocked up, so no worries there. I now have three of them in triple SLI. The most recent one has an ASIC's score of over 75 and I have it in the primary PCIe slot. I am running a DELL UltraSharp 1910 X 1200 as primary and a Viewsonic UHD 3840 X 2160 as secondary for movies etc. and the combined 12 GB memory handles them like a Titan. At then end of the day, maybe a single titan would be better for heat, but the cost is about the same (three cards vs. just one) . But since I was expanding this was the way to go for me. I was not disappointed. I have been on the GTX 970 FTW+ since they first came out. First one then two, and now three. Superb...
Pros: Nice size for what I'm using it for: Viewing 4K movies, working with photos, MS Word, Excel etal.
Cons: None really though scaling is problematic especially with monitors of two different resolutions. But I understood this going in.
Overall Review: I am using this as a secondary monitor. My primary is the Dell Ultra sharp 24" @ 1920x1200. When I fling a Window over to this monitor (Netflix movie, Photos ) it is set to scale up to 3840x2160 and really is super. To use the Viewsonic as a primary, text and icons are tiny. if I did this, the scaling for the Dell would be unusable.
Pros: Does some noise cancelling especially the fan noise from the computer. Value is OK for the price. More-or-less comfortable. A little tight.
Cons: Does not cancel all noise in the near environment. EG: if someone is watching television in the same room, you will hear this. It however, is better than non cancelling headphones.
Overall Review: These were OK for the price. If, however, price is not that important, then get the Bose 25's. They do cancel all outside noise. The do cost twice as much though.
Pros: Ran Memtest86 on this kit for Std test for 1.5 hrs. Have not run the 90 min. bit fade test yet. They are running great. No issues yet.
Pros: 2X1GB's worked in a Dell Dimension 2400 like a dream. Probably increased speed by 75%. But even more importantly, you can open several app's at one time with little to no slow down. Replaced 2 256MB sticks.
Cons: NONE so far
Pros: Right now only using it in hardwired network. It'll be a while before I go wireless on a laptop; will get back on that. So far so good as long as you manually set things up. The software is the pits and doesn't work on 64-bit systems. Windows7 Ultimate on both wired platforms. One 32-bit the other 64-bit. Everthing shares nicely. Can print to one printer from each computer. I don't use the ReadyShare. (for sharing a common external Backup drive)
Cons: Firmware from Netgear website is very squirrelly. Included disk is worthless. Just do everything manually and you'll be OK.
Overall Review: Also it's worth the 35 bucks to put in a Netgear Ethernet card if you have an older (more the 3 years) computer you are including in the network. Drivers for it will fly in on Windows7 update and then everthings a breeze.
Pros: Works great so far. Put in as primary drive in an old Dell Dimension 8300. Took the 80Gig that was primary and made it secondary. (for use as location for Backup files) Installed Window7 32-bit. Networked the whole rig to an Asus Maximus Formula running Windows7 64-bit. Everything on the Dell is great. Maximus still with issues (probably BIOS related). I keep trying. But the network exchanges everything.
Cons: None so far
Pros: I had very high expectations for this product. It actually was the most expensive component of this new build. Was unconcerned for price for this component, because I did not want power issues on first POST.I like the modular cabling and the LEDs.Should be twice the necessary power for this rig.
Cons: However, on very first POST, everything lit up, fans LEDs and I was just starting to arrange things in BIOS, when all of a sudden, screen started blinking on and off. System attempted to restart several times and then just died. I had even called the tech center at ABS before lighting off to make sure all was connected correctly.
Overall Review: Maximus Formula, E6850 CPU, Corsair Dominator 1066 DDR2. 2x150 Raptors and 500 WD 7200 HDD's.
Evaga 8800GT 512, and this BZ 1100 psu. Newegg has RMA'ed this psu and will replace with another of same. All I saw were 4.0 reviews for this product. Imagine the dsiappointment.
