Pros: Moves an adequate amount of air, and it is very quiet. Long fan cable with sleeve to keep things nice and tidy. Looks nice.

Cons: No molex connector. This fan has to plug into the motherboard, or to a controller. Not bad if that's how you want it. No instructions in the package regarding the rubber mounts (though you can find pictures and instructions on GELID's website). You have to pull the rubber pieces through the "screw" holes with enough force it feels like they might snap... but they don't.

Overall Review: Nice fans for the price. If you think they're not quiet enough and don't move enough air, then you're just being unrealistic.

Pros: Attractive design, solid construction. Indicator LEDs make it easy to tell when the dock is powered on and hard drive is active. I've used quite a few different drives with the dock, both 2.5" and 3.5", and all fit snugly and worked fine.

Cons: Power button is located on the back of the dock, a minor inconvenience. The dock uses a standard-size B-type USB cable, the same kind that most printers use. Accordingly, I was surprised when mine came with a micro-USB cable instead. I hooked it up with a cable I already had, but contacted ThermalTake's customer support to see if they could send me the correct cable. Exactly 2 weeks later, I finally received a brief response with instructions on how to connect a USB cable. As if that was the issue.

Overall Review: Learned by accident: computer may not boot if dock is connected and powered on with no hard drive inserted.

Pros: Somewhat solid construction

Cons: Failed after six months. Lacks some of the connections you'd expect it to have. No -5v output.

Cons: Don't over-tighten the screws, or you'll have a headache to deal with

Pros: Quite useful. I stash CDs, antennas, and misc. adapters in mind. Looks pretty nice, and doesn't come open easily.

Cons: Doesn't come open easily. Actually, it can be pretty hard to get it open.

Overall Review: I suspect my case may have something to do with it, but it's not that bad.

Pros: It did work. Sort of.

Cons: Sorry, but it is NOT "solidly built" - one of the screw-holds broke and the right-side top cover came off within a couple weeks. Keys are spongy, unpleasant to use. Layout is uncreative and stupid.

Overall Review: I would have sent it back, but it wasn't worth it.
