Good choice for a HTPC case.
Pros: Noise and cooling are excellent, system is just a little bit louder than the Dish Network receiver it replaced. I got 2 SATA power leads on the PSU, not sure about the other people that received this case.
Cons: Cable management is extremely sparse. It takes a lot not to drape a ton of cables right in front of the front intake fan. Expect to do a lot of finger-contorting to get everything to fit and still have reasonable airflow. All in all, I'd buy it again.
excellent drive, may not be the best for HTPC
Pros: Excellent read speeds, DVD playback is no problem at all. Installed flawlessly on my HTPC setup.
Cons: The blue light that's to the right of the tray is abnormally bright, and also functions as the seek indicator. Can be a distraction when watching a movie in a dark room. Also, I was unable to install Windows from this to my Asus P8H67-M motherboard, it gave me a I/O error before it would even launch the GUI. I had a USB CD-ROM handy so I was able to get the OS files installed, after that everything went well.
Overall Review: BUY THE RETAIL VERSION. The Blu-Ray software very expensive to buy separately.
