Pros: - POWERFUL - Surprisingly good RGB (was initially going to turn the RGB off but it actually looks great irl) - small form factor (I have an NZXT 510 case with an AIO cooled CPU. Not only did this fit but still has about a 1-2 inches of clearance between the card and RAD) It's also smaller than the FE - updated models from summer 2021 onward (when I got mine) got rid of the red trim. The card I received has a black trim - Super quiet. Fans seem to turn on when temps start to get super high otherwise they're usually off or low speed - EVGA has a solid warranty
Cons: - HOT HOT HOT. The VRAM easily can top 100 degrees under load - Expensive - power HOG (I had to manually change some settings and undervolt for reasonable draw)
Overall Review: I originally was in the market for a 3090 versus a 3080 due to availability - it seems like 3080 & the TI variant are the hottest cards on the market. After running it for a few days, I couldn't be happier with it. It's definitely a beast that can handle anything thrown at it with ease. Specifically with the FTW 3 model, I was super surprised with how quiet and small this card is. I thought the FE was the smallest card but I was gladly wrong. It definitely is a power hog but I guess that's what you get when you're getting such a powerful card. I am hoping Nvidia releases updated drivers that regulate the heat better especially now that I'm using it in the summertime.
