Not very reliable8/23/2020 5:57:25 AM

Pros: They worked for a little under a year, I guess that is a positive.

Cons: Both drives had smart errors after ~11 months and were no longer detectable by my MoBo or by a USB-Sata adapter.

Overall Review: I wouldn't recommend the drives, but the seller, goHardDrive, was quick and professional with the RMA. Their staff responded to email promptly and processed the RMA in a timely manner. It stinks to lose data and have the drives fail, but goHardDrive made it right rather quickly, I would defiantly buy from them again.

epic fail10/6/2008 1:29:43 PM

Pros: makes a good drink coaster

Cons: after about 8-9 months it will not be recognized in any machine I plug it into, poor construction, the metal spring is shot.

Overall Review: you would have a more effective communication device with a signal lamp.

great board6/3/2008 8:27:52 AM

Pros: Even though its a supped-up version of the 650i paired with a NF200 PCIe 2.0 16x, its got great bang for the buck. For sub 200 bucks, its a great buy, the 780i and 790i boards are all going for 250,300,350, even up to 450 bucks for a board. I am running it with 2x evga 8800GTS SSC 640MB cards and a C2D 6750 (running at 3.2GHz) and Corsair Dominator DDR2-1066 and it rocks my freakin socks.

Cons: Runs a bit hot, my Intel board ran much cooler.

Overall Review: Excellent board for the money, OCs well and has been solid so far.

pretty good4/25/2008 11:54:52 AM

Pros: Runs fairly nice, runs hot though. Got good scores out of PC Mark Vantage and 3d Mark 06 (though not as high as my Q6600). At 235 USD its a good bang for the buck.

Cons: Wish I got a one of the magical 3.2GHz OC'able ones, I hear they are delivered by pixies instead of USP and they run on 125W of love.

Overall Review: Running the latest bios on my GA-MA790FX-DS5 (rev. F5) and it does not like to overclock all that much, it ran at 2.8GHz for about an hour and then crapped itself. 2.7GHz lasted almost a full run of PCMark Vantage before soiling itself. I am using a PC power & cooling 750W so there should be no problem at all with juice. Maybe I will have to liquid cool this bad boy.

good case4/5/2008 11:06:41 AM

Pros: Looks amazing and super easy to mod.

Cons: Make sure you check the dimensions of the components you are intalling, you only have 11 inches of width to work with. My 3870 X2 didn't fit and I had to go back to my 8800GTS. Air circulation is also a problem, make sure you circulate air by your HDD and make sure you use fans that can move a good amount of air as the acrylic is not going to absorb any heat like a traditional aluminum or steel case would.

Overall Review: All in all a great case.

exellent PSU4/1/2008 1:10:48 PM

Pros: ran my 680i asus board, C2D 6750 and two super clock evga 640MB (112 stream processors) without a hickup, dead quiet and rock solid

Cons: none

Overall Review: This is a great PSU, it doesn't add a extra noise to a PC, I liquid cooled my CPU and GPUs and coupled with 2 low RPM noctau fans the pump for the liquid cooling is the loudest component.

Overall Review: I have a 3870 X2 and a quad core Phenom running on it, take it like champ.

flakey at best3/30/2008 7:36:00 PM

Pros: Looks like it was going to be a great bang for the buck.

Cons: Had to fight to get the thing to POST, usb ports caused my keyboard and mouse to flicker and made my external WD passport portable drive power on and off a million times a second (which I think caused the drive to fail). I sent it back to MSI, I really don' think they did a thing to it, aside from smash one of the corners of the PCB and then just send it back to me. I have the same problems as I did before as well as being out the shipping charges.

Overall Review: I am sorta stunned by their customer service and how bad it was, I have another MSI board, a K9N4 Ultra that is running CentOS 5, it has been rock solid. Maybe its just hit or miss with their products, unfortunately I got a miss.
