Pros: Nicely designed, comfortable keyboard, excellent cooling and and extra features, powerful GPU. Minimal bloat-ware. Esata and USB 3.0 is very nice to have. HD webcam is nice if you need one.

Cons: Sound quality is extremely poor above a certain level. Certain USB devices (a logitech mouse) will cause the system to become very unresponsive and slow down to a crawl, so far this is the only culprit, but there maybe other peripherals that cause this issue. Batter life if bad, a 12-cell would have been nice considering what a power hog the high-end components are. 2hrs is the max you should expect to get before you need to get to an outlet.

Overall Review: This system was touted as having superior audio quality(main reason I purchased it) as well as being a great gaming machine. I agree with the gaming aspect but the audio quality sharply decreases above a certain volume. This has nothing to do with the speakers which were used (they are acutally phenomenal), but rather the keyboard. Above a certain threshold the keys around the f-9 to f-12 and those around that area will begin to vibrate at an annoying frequency- it sounds very much like a blown sub-woofer even though its not, so far I've been able to alleviate this problem by gently placing my fingers or some object over the offending keys but this is very frustrating. I've tried to contact support but no luck getting someone on the phone. I have a feeling that this may occur in all Gx660 models. On another note the one I own is slightly different than this model, it's the i7 version but I believe the problem is based on the keyboard design itself, otherwise this is a 5 star
