Good cable
Pros: It works, connection is good i mean there's no wiggling when plugged into the usb port. It's 6 dollars. fast free shipping by Newegg
Cons: None so far. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Overall Review: bought this cable because my other one "broke", turned out it was the connection.
Doesn't work for games
Pros: cheap, Newegg has very fast shipping.
Cons: big, i mean big, I had to take out an hard drive to install this. and it don't play any games.
Overall Review: installed the card and latest driver, trying to play crysis, the computer will restart itself while crysis is loading. I looked at my power supply, it's a 500W with 22A on the +12V, and there's only a single +12V. so I was like, alright, that's the problem. Went ahead and bought a In Win commander 750W with 4 +12V rails and each rail has 18A on it(online review showing it can run GTX 275 in SLI), so it should be good to go since EVGA recommended 36A on the +12V rail. Guess what, the exact same thing happened. It's being sent back for RMA, was hoping to get refund, but it's not an option. Hope the replacement actually works with games.
McAfee Antivirus
Pros: Works perfectly, rebate is fast.
Cons: none
Works fine
Pros: cheap but it works as advertised
Cons: none
Overall Review: installed the dual channel kit and computer wouldn't boot at first, but then I removed one and it booted just fine. tested both pieces the same way and both works, retested with both pieces and finally worked. scared me for a little bit. Maybe ram wasn't seated properly.
cheap, ok performance
Pros: cheap with promo code, 16GB for under 10 dollars. That's as cheap as some of the USB 2.0 sticks.
Cons: you get what you paid for, transferred 2GB in 3 minutes and 16 seconds, that means 10MB/s write speed(that's on a USB3.0 port by the way). Can't trust what windows tells you, it's the real life performance that counts. So it kind of performs like a USB 2.0 stick.
Happy with brother product
Pros: Works right out of the box. I tried the refill toner and turned out to be a disaster, toner was leaking all over the place when I print, tried cleaning the drum and the refill toner without help. I thought it was the drum going bad. I cleaned the drum and the corona wire, got the TN 330 toner and it's now printing like a champ. No spots on the paper anymore. I'm very happy with it cuz it saves me hours of headache trying to figure out what's wrong with the printer.
Cons: Genuine toner is always pricier than refill, but you do get what you pay for. I spent 32 dollars on the TN 330 toner vs. 15 dollars on refill. I ended up throwing away the 15 dollars, so fi you don't want to deal with the headache and mess of refill, get the genuine toner.
