Pros: After a few weeks, the cylinder started slowly lowering randomly. It does it constantly now, WASTE OF MONEY!!!
Cons: This chair is the CON
Overall Review: DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR
Pros: I love Wavlink, they make good stuff, this cable is no exception, solid and nice looking. I will buy more later.
Overall Review: It arrived quick, Newegg and Wavlink are awesome.
Pros: It fit and it worked as advertised.
Overall Review: Newegg rocks
Pros: Easy to use, bright, and simple.
Cons: Edit: Bought another of these, it came DOA, didn't work, the seller didnt send me a return label so this third light string eded up costing me almost double. I am unhappy with this situation. I will not buy anything from them.
Overall Review: See above.
Pros: The bulb works great and the seller got it to me quickly.
Overall Review: I will buy more of these down the road. Great seller.
Pros: It works great. It's so nice I bought it twice.
Overall Review: Got in the next day.
Pros: This item works as advertised, it was easy to install and no issues.
Cons: The instructions weren't very helpful.
Overall Review: This is a good vendor, Corn sent the item immediately and sent tracking info right away. I would buy from them again.
Pros: These guys make good stuff, the design is top notch and it was very easy to assemble.
Overall Review: Wavlink has good quality stuff. I have some of their USB hubs and now this item, they all are great and the craftsmanship shows. They also ship quickly and get it to you fast. I will buy more from them in the future.
Pros: I bought this after the price dropped post RTX 2080 announcement. I use it for rendering in DAZ Studio. Amazing performance improvement from 2 980 Ti's.
Overall Review: Newegg is still great, I ordered it Monday, had it Tuesday. Keep up the great work Newegg.
Pros: I added a USB 3 hub with an Ethernet connection and plugged this into my bedroom TV.
I use it regularly for Netflix, Hulu, Microsoft Movies and TV and HDHomerun TV viewing app. All work flawlessly.
Overall Review: It doesn't have a sleep function, just restart and power off. Not the end of the world though.
Pros: Well made, plug and play, great price, no issues, very happy.
Pros: It worked well when it worked.
Cons: This card just died on me and I bought it in August 2015. While I did get a bit of use out of it I expect a card I paid around $600 for to last longer than that. Contacting MSI to see what they can do for me, but I don't expect much.
Pros: It works like new, despite being a re-certified unit.
Everything is as advertised and the system got here on time.
I bought this to use with my Silicondust Homerun Prime with their new DVR app which now works on DRM channels like HBO if you have a Homerun Prime. Now I will be able to replace my Xbox 360 Media Center Extenders when Microsoft pulls the plug.
So I have full DVR functionality (the DRM channels do not work on the DVR yet but it will) plus Netflix, Hulu if i want etc, and an Xbox one game console.
Overall Review: I recommend these re-certified units to anyone who is looking for a good multi media center for their still good but aging TV. I have a 60 inch Sharp Aquos and I am not interested in replacing it yet, so the newer Xbox One S with 4K is of no use to me. If you are in a similar situation this is the way to go.
Pros: Works as advertised. I can't tell you how many times I have purchased RAM only to find that it does not use the timings listed on the spec sheet out of the box, its frustrating to have to manually set the timings. Then there are times when they simply DO NOT work as advertised at all.
This was not an issue with these memory modules.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Still love Newegg, loyal customer to this site. They had these to me, along with a new MOBO in a day with free shipping.
They always take good care of me and I will continue to support them.
Pros: Fixed the resolution issue, now I am getting full 1080p, so it works as advertised. now it gets the full 5 eggs.
This thing works great.
Cons: None. Remote issue listed below IS NOT AN ISSUE. Ignore anyone saying this, as I said below, ANY MEDIA CENTER REMOTE WORKS WITH THIS DEVICE.
Overall Review: Buy this, it has a 60 day return policy. Ignore the naysayers who are complaining about the remote. Check it out for yourself. Every electronic device can possibly be dead on arrival, that is the nature of the beast. If it is DOA, then exchange it or get a refund.
Pros: Two camera's, rear and front. Small form factor, making it easy to use. Solid build and feel. Simple interface.
Cons: Several, I have owned two of these now and had to return them both. I bought this for my wife and immediately she noticed the wifi was intermittent. The Ideapad A1 would drop signal every couple of minutes (my Vizio Vtab on the other hand does not do this).
We returned one because of this issue, but the second had the same problem. My wife chose to live with that and despite the connectivity issue she grew to love the device, she used it all the time. Then a few days ago the OS crashed, a quick review on lenovo forums reveals this is a common problem relating to the proprietary app's lenovo installs on the A1. The only real fix is to reset the device to factory default in which you lose all your settings, files, pics etc. There are other fixes listed on the forums but the only true fix is to reformat. This issue combined with the connection issue is a deal breaker. We are returning the second A1 and will purchase another device with the credit newegg has agreed to give us.
Overall Review: Newegg takes care of their customers. I am a long time egger and I love this site. I have purchased parts to build several systems, plus various other devices including the lenovo A1 and the Vizio Vtab (which is a great value, no issues whatsoever). Others may disagree but by my experience if you want to purchase quality computer components or other electronic gadgets and receive excellent customer support, choose Newegg.
Pros: This is a great tablet. The screen is large, the interface is clean and the package that Newegg offers with it is superb. The IR blaster is a great feature, although the functionality is limited (see other thoughts). The HDMI port is nice to have and the micro fiber cleaning cloth is great. Still I recommend getting a stylus to minimize finger prints.
Cons: There is only the front facing camera. I would have liked to have a back facing camera as well, but with all the other features, something had to be sacrificed I suppose.
Overall Review: I use this with the remote control feature with a homebrew DVR via a Silicondust Homerun Prime and Xbox extenders. It works, but not with every function, for instance there is no 'recorded shows' function. But I am nit picking there and it works well 90% of the time as a good channel surfing remote.
Pros: It works well. I am using it with my Xbox which is set up as an extender to watch cable TV with a Silicondust Homerun Prime. The buttons are well marked and more logical than other remotes.
Cons: The keys are not back lit
Pros: 2nd review- Yay, this one worked. It installed smooth as silk. I gave this review 4 eggs which will offset my previous 1 egg review a bit.
Cons: The first one was doa.
Overall Review: Western Digital needs to improve their quality control. Reading the other reviews on this product reveals that there are many shipped with issues similar to mine.
Pros: Plug and play, good fast connection. I have this on my HTPC, I can stream from HBO GO or Netflix without issue.
Overall Review: Needs to be in an area where it does not get strong interference.
Pros: This a great device. It solves common issues associated with building an HTPC. It is plug and play with both Win 7 and Ubuntu 10.10. The unit feels solidly built and connectivity is easy and precise.
Overall Review: The mouse function does take some getting used to. The key for me is to simply move your wrist not your whole body as some may be tempted to do.
Pros: Good value, 80 plus bronze rating make this a compelling buy. Plenty of connections.
Overall Review: Wish it was modular but that is nit picking. If your in the market for a good PSU, this is a good choice.
Pros: Cheap and fast for the price. Good bargain card for intermediate use/Gaming. Works well in Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.04 (even in crossfire mode).
Overall Review: Bought one of these a month ago for my father and he liked it so much we decided to get another and crossfire them. Its fast and snappy, he has commented on the speed and the color/resolution improvement several times now.
A good value
Pros: It worked, it looks good, been stable and reliable, its Windows theres not much to get excited about.
Cons: Its Windows, and every couple of years these con artists force the public who is tech or computer savvy to kick in for a new OS. Furthermore they consistently leave the same bugs release after release, the same swiss cheese security (although this is much better than XP).
I am tired of Microsoft and their customer gouging ways, this will most likely be the last time I ever buy a copy of Windows for myself.
Overall Review: I have started running ubuntu recently and am slowly learning how to use it. As my proficiency in linux increases the less and less I use Windows.
The only reason to really use Windows is to play games, if you want to do anything else ubuntu is the way to go, its faster, more stable, and secure. There isnt a web site yet that has not worked and the office suite that comes installed is spectacular.
You do not need an anti virus program with linux, that is another thing Windows has people conditioned to believe, that you need to have an anti virus.
Hello Mr Ballmer perhaps if you made a good product out of the box we wouldnt need to support yet another industry we do not need. Why should I need an anti virus for Windows? Why should I pay for your system then have to buy something that should come installed in Windows or shouldn't be a concern in the first place?
Ubuntu linux for the win folks. As I said this will be the last time I buy Windows in any incarnation.
Pros: I bought one of these to upgrade my fathers system and was impressed with the performance of this CPU. Just the other day I bought one for myself and slapped it in my own system, so far its been great I upgraded from a Athlon X2 5200+ (had to flash the bios of my Gigabyte mobo to do that but no biggie) and the extra mhz gave me an immediate noticeable performance improvement. Boot time was much faster. I have not run any big games yet but I will put it through its paces over the weekend.
Overall Review: The packaging was rather slap dash, the cpu was in a bubble wrap envelope, I didnt expect a whole lot with an OEM cpu but I didnt expect this. However it worked and there is no issue, however I recommend to newegg to do a bit better in the future.
