Great little video card
Pros: At work I had this old Hp Compaq 6200 Pro Small Form Factor (low profile desktop) and wanted some horsepower on the video and found this to be the better option, not only because its 4 gb ram, but it also does not need extra power supply. It runs everything at decent fps and yet is very silent at a very affordable price.
Cons: None really
Good until it died
Pros: It's a solid Mobo with plenty of connections, the Asrock forum community is quite good.
Cons: Has serious compatibility issues with many memories, better double check what you are pairing it with.
Overall Review: It died after 10 months of moderate use, it simply stopped booting, working, moving... anything.
Great, a worth investment
Pros: You can literally throw anything inside. A must if you are going to watercool, but specially if you are going to use a EKWB big kit or similar setup, it is like both companies worked together to build this beast... everything has a place in it.
Cons: It is not a LAN party box... yep
Best sound ever
Pros: I must start saying I have a very good set of speakers, a Klipsch 5.1 setup that can rival to anything out there, also I come from other SB sound cards, like Platinum and Zx all the way back to a SB16 and AWE Creative's cards. Said that I can attest this is the best sounding card I have ever had, clarity and detail wise, simply extraordinary. None who consider him/herself an audiophile can't state otherwise. You must own this card if you want the most perfect sound ever in a PC, no more, no less.
Cons: I'm still intrigued if I'm going to miss the DTS and Dolby decoders.
Overall Review: May not be a con, but you gotta have yourself the best possible speakers to really appreciate this card, or so I believe
3 years later. still going strong
Pros: Will support and power everything you can throw at it, including 3 way sli of nvidia 1080s Silent Cool operation Not a single hiccup in three years, even after passing the eventual electric shortage that had occurred in that time
Cons: None
Overall Review: It is expensive, but -as usual- you get what you pay for. I have the feeling I will not need a new PS ever
Solid and reliable, tons of features
Pros: It will boot from the first time, it will support your mem sticks without hesitation and its software control features are nice enough. Paired with an Intel i7 4790K CPU, 32 gigs of G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series Model F3-1600C9Q-32GXM and one EVGA GTX 780 6GB,. I haven't had the necessity to OC at all, but I have the feeling it will also rock on that area. Best description: server-solid like. Choose this MB if you are looking for stability above all, but with room for nice features.
Cons: Not really so far.
Overall Review: ASUS AI Suite (to control fans and stuff) actually works well.
