Simple no-nonsense ITX board
Pros: Sensibly sized heatsinks on board, no issues with installing a Scythe Big Shuriken 3 in the infinity RAM clearance orientation. BIOS is fine, simple and functional.
Cons: all slots were FRIGHTENINGLY tight. I've never had to apply that much force to insert a GPU or RAM sticks. Not sure what's different with this board on that front.
Overall Review: Great ITX board, the low-profile M.2 heatsink is exactly what i feel you should want in a SFF build, as it does not impede cooler mounting. Most important connections are all along the right side of the board, which made a large difference in a case like my Meshlicious, where the front panel connector cable is not very long. Would recommend to anyone looking for an ITX 12th gen board without paying Z690 prices, with most of the Z690 features.
The reviews are correct.
Pros: Supplies power Looks clean with the brushed finish
Cons: By far the loudest part in my build. Yes, louder than my GPU. the tiny fan spins from 0% to 100% at shockingly low loads branding is upside down when mounted Fan-outward in my Meshlicious.
Overall Review: Did what i needed it to, Supplies power at a reasonable price, has nice looking appropriate length cables. Wish i had paid more attention to the dB charts for PSUs, would have most likely gone with the SF750.
Adequate performance with many features
Pros: Bios and software controllable VRM fan Integrated IO shield TB4 Bios flashback and clear cmos on rear IO Optical out
Cons: Fan headers on top right corner of board, bad for sandwich layout in some cases due to tall top VRM heatsink Asrock Bios. Functional, but clunky
Overall Review: Was looking for a D5 13th gen board with bios flashback, dual m2, and Optical at a price lower than the 790 boards. This ticked those boxes. Few reviews I assume due to uncertainty with the brand, but I have had no significant issues with the board. Would and have recommended it to others.
Incredible Price/Performance
Pros: Included stock cooler performs more than adequately for this. Great gaming performance Strong enough multi-threaded performance for my use case.
Cons: Included stock cooler actually overhangs the nearest DIMM when used on an ITX board.
Overall Review: I was uncertain of the quality of the stock cooler, based on other reviews here. However i believe they may have had inadequately mounted the cooler. I was seeing temps of idle around 40c, load around 60c, Which varies greatly with what some have said about this cooler. As for the chip itself, i was looking for similar performance to my 9900KF at lower thermal load so i could downsize. This fit that bill. for under $500 CAD, the H670M-ITX/AX and this chip bundled together is a solid ITX build for gaming, without needing extra cooling in most cases.
Fantastic ITX option
Pros: Excellent airflow multi slot long GPU support enough clearance for a quality top-down style air cooler clean look
Cons: Included GPU bracket blocks one port on the GPU. Initial Riser positioning causes issue with mounting some GPUs. Cable management
Overall Review: The ability to remove all panels is a blessing for installing your system and setting everything up exactly as you want it. You end up with a subtle clean PC capable of housing high end components. Re: Con #1 - the community for this case is fantastic and there is a STL file available that is a replacement GPU bracket that does not block the ports. Had it printed for $5 before the case arrived because I knew I needed all 4 slots.
Great card for the money
Pros: Excellent performance for money 800 stream processors 1GB GDDR5 RAM. Runs surprisingly cool.
Cons: None as of yet
Overall Review: Has 800 stream processors as reported by GPU-Z. not 720 as listed in the ad
