Overall Review: This GPU is huge, but looks great and feels good in your hand. Barely fit in my Phanteks Eclipse 200a but - it did! Mine had one fin that was slightly bent but it was an easy correction. I honestly hate to leave a review because I wish I could forget spending this kind of money but - hey, it's a beast of a card and if you can stomach the price it's absolutely worth getting. Excuse the cable management in the picture, as this is purely just to show how it fit in a mini-ITX case.
Overall Review: I've never built a mini-ITX and was expecting it to be a nightmare but I was pleasantly suprised. The case fits a full size XFX RX 6900 XT and I was BARELY able to get a Corsair H100i Elite Capellix 240mm to keep my Ryzen 9 5950x cool. The only thing that could be improved would to replace the side pannel doors with ones that screw in. Also cable management with Corsairs RM series powercables is a nightmare, so I'll be getting some cables from Cable Mod for better management.
Overall Review: Performs well, it does have a slightly off smell though. Not much else to say about it, other than it was the best priced formula at the time of purchase. Switched from EWKB Blood Red. Dont think Ill be buying anything with a dye in it again.
Overall Review: While I used to adore Corsair, I'm coming to the realization that they're greedy and completely overrated. I have their case, ram, psu, m.2 ssd, fans, keyboard, mouse, headset... and I'm kind of over it at this point.
Granted, the fans move a lot of air. But that's about it. Not really impressive considering how expensive they are. And they don't even include the long screws to mount to your radiator if you have a loop. The fan header cable is too short. And my goodness, these fans are loud - definitely adjust your fan curve as soon as you install them.
The only good thing about these fans is that they do what fans are meant to do - move air. If you like blowing dolla bills, want your pc to sound like it's going to explode, or enjoy the soothing sounds of jet engines - buy this.
At this point I'm considering moving on to a different brand, maybe Thermaltake as they have more reasonably priced items at a very similar quality.
Pros: Better firmware and OS than WD Ex2 Ultra
Faster read/write speeds even with HDD instead of SSD when compared to WD Ex2 Ultra
Adjustable LED Light & ability to schedule the light to only power off at night
Easy connectability, and many options to stay connected to your device
Cons: A little bulky.
Overall Review: I had an incredibly hard time with Western Digital's My Cloud Ex2 Ultra, and their firmware was nightmarish. I had constant errors with the most simple task like detecting HDD temperatures. At first I was put off by the price tag on the DS920 but I figured they must be doing something right judging by the reviews, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The setup was simple and the interface is reminiscent of Windows OS, making it a breeze to learn how and where to find things. Everything about this system is faster and more streamlined than WD's My Cloud Ex2 Ultra, and honestly, WD should be ashamed of their pathetic NAS product lines in comparison.
I used SSD's in my WD system, but when I bought the DS920 I decided to save my SSD's and use Toshiba's N300 HDD's. Ironically, the DS920 still verified the HDD's faster than the Ex2 Ultra could with SSD's. The DS920 even writes and reads to these HDD's faster than the Ex2 Ultra could with SSD's. It simply blows WD out of the water. I did upgrade the cache in the DS920, but still. So much happier with Synology.
Overall Review: I was up late while intoxicated a few weeks ago and decided to see if any Rtx 3090's were available. By some chance this one was actually in stock, so I ordered it as quickly as my drunk stubby little fingers could go. I didn't even look at the picture, details, etc.. just straight to checkout. In the morning I decided to see how tf my drunken self managed to blow two thousand dollars. I was happy to see that I managed to buy one of these elusive cards, but I was disappointed by the fact it has a waterblock. I've never put together a loop, and was afraid to do so, and also upset that I had to spend MORE money. Oh well, now that I made my first loop and actually get to USE this card now, it's money well spent. The card is impressive and stays cooler than my 3950x in certain instances. The card is also much smaller than I expected, but quite heavy. I do not like RGB Fusion because I hate proprietary software just to work LED lights. Other than that, excellent card and performance. I hope they get the stock situation worked out, I'd be interested in running these with nvidia link even though its probably not necessary.
