Solid PSU, Amazing Performance, No issues thus far!
Pros: - Eco Mode delays the fan from coming on until it is needed - Shorter design fits into my Fractal Design Meshify C and leaves plenty of room for the modular cables - Awesome sleeved cables - Easy to install
Cons: - None that I can think of
Overall Review: I would love for future generations across the majority of EVGA's lineup to include the ability to link directly to the PSU via software so I can monitor the product more and see what it's doing. More of a want than a need.
Air Cooling Wonderland for under $100
Pros: - Mesh panel on front, magnetic mesh panel on top - Great airflow, especially when front fans are upgraded - Great cooling capability as a result of the above - Tempered glass front panel
Cons: - A little cramped to work at times - Some of the passthrough holes along the shroud were inaccessible with my motherboard blocking some of the bulkier cable heads from the PSU cables - Installing/uninstalling fans at the front are a pain given the Front I/O cables are connected and no able to disconnect
Overall Review: I love the way this case looks and I don't regret this purchase at all. I think this case it perfect for anyone using air cooling and wanting to maximize the cooling capability of your fans. I don't think things are too loud given the front panel. But it truly depends on the fans you choose. My current system is set up with 2 140mm Deepcool RF 140 fans at the front, the Cryorig H7 CPU Cooler, and the case fans Fractal included with the case at the rear for exhaust. I would recommend going with 2 140mm fans at the front over 3 120 fans simply because 140s are typically quieter, and you won't need to remove part of the shroud and move the drive cage. Overall, this is an amazing case, worth the money.
Great budget gaming card for 1080p gaming!
Pros: - Great aesthetic, has a backplate - Fans turn off when not in use to save power - Great performance for 1080p gaming - 8GB of VRAM
Cons: - Not so great for 1440p gaming - Can't run recent games with all graphics options maxed out without sub-30 FPS performance
Overall Review: If you're looking to build your first computer, like I just did, and you have a strict budget, go with this over the 1060. It has great performance at 1080p, more VRAM, and is at a lower price than the GTX 1060 or the RX 590. If you're looking for something to run a 1440p monitor above 30 FPS, look elsewhere or wait for the next generation from AMD (rumors circulating that they will be better and more competitive than in previous generations).
Quiet operation, great colors, keeps my system nice and cool!
Pros: - Quiet operation - Great RGB looks - Easy to install - RGB extension and Fan hub included!
Cons: - Cables a bit short
Overall Review: These look great with my Fractal Design Meshify C case. I have them as 2 intake fans. They look amazing as they breath. They are also link to MSI Mystic Light and match perfectly with my motherboard RGB (motherboard is B450 Tomahawk). I was nervous initially purchasing it. They are fairly cheap compared to Corsair fans and other competitors. I thought I could be getting a cheap product. So far, they've turned out to be wonderful additions. You don't need to drop a ton of money if you want great quality, fairly quiet, RGB fans for your case.
Great cooling capability, Painful installation!
Pros: - Neutral Aesthetic that fits into any build - Great cooling ability with fan - Near silent operation
Cons: - AWFUL to install, especially if this is your first time building with computer (see other for more)
Overall Review: This is a great product based on the pros I have given prior to. I don't regret this purchase. However, I hope Cryorig improves the installation process for upcoming products. I had a terrible time trying to install the product. Putting on the backplate, installing the screws and the mounts, the X-Bar was a hard to figure out how to use. I struggled so much trying to mount it. I was trying to align the cooler and keep the backplate from falling off and so so many things at once. There has to be an easier solution than this. Maybe I'll get better at this as I continue to work on my PC down the road. Overall, I will definitely still consider Cryorig products in the future.
