Great board

Pros: Installation: Worked out of the box, no issues setting it up other then user error. Asus quality at a great price point. The reason I bought this was because I use ATI video cards and didn’t want to pay a premium for SLI support. (Core i7 set ups are already expensive enough) Memory used: Installed Patriot 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) memory which is working well with the motherboard so far. Pros: The bios update utility worked great. All I had to click was next and it downloaded it and did everything for me to get my bios to the latest version. Pro: EPU seems to be working really well. A lot of times I don’t do much other then surf the web so I don’t need to have all the processing power available to me.
Cons: Audio: After installing the audio drivers (latest version downloaded from web), I started to hear a lot of static through my headphones. Have not tried out my speaker set up but I know there is nothing wrong with the headphones. Software: I personally don’t like the way asus programs the interfaces to their utilities. They do not give you many options, sometimes not even a help button to check version number. They also don’t include auto update options often. Fan connectors: Only has one 4 PIN fan connector for the CPU fan and only one extra for a case fan.
Overall Review: -When I first installed everything i never got a video signal and the screen stayed black. Turned out I had the memory in the black slots instead of the orange ones. -I am using a 74 gig raptor as my C drive. This system runs circles around the drive (with storage hungry, drive killing vista) Will need to update to a SSD. 34nm are looking good. Setup: 920, 6 gigs of patriot ram 1333mhz 7-7-7-20, Cooler master Hyper N cooler (Seems to be doing a good job cooling it, stays around 40C, have nothing to compare it to though) WD 74gig raptor, WD Green 750gig, Asus 4870 TOP 512 (you need an asus video card for the EPU to work with the video card I belive)
Q6600

Pros: Dropped the temp of my q6600 from 70C to 30C. Was using stock HS before.
Cons: Installing it is rather hard, takes at least two people
great support!

Pros: Great colors, great size. The resolution is perfect if you are going to be playing games. I've mostly played BF2 on this screen and it looks 20x better then any other regular flat screen.
Cons: none
Overall Review: After about 1 year i had a line of dead pixels. Called Samsung, was on the phone for about 5 minutes and they send me a new screen. (its covered by a 3 year warranty!!!!!)
nice

Comments: keeps my 939 3400+ oced to 2.4 at 30 idle, and 40ish load, so good cooler, but my room is AC'ed so its like 60 F in here haha
if it worked, but i have an aus board...

Comments: looks cool, but did not work on my asus board, a8n-e
great card

Comments: upgraded from a 5600 agp, haha. Well, about the card, you will get a singleslot one, which i did not like as much because 2 slots are cooler but anyways, its not about the outside, its about the inside! I OCed mine a little to 430 115X, can do a lot more but no need. The card is great and runs any of my games on ultra high. When your playing BF2 MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 1GB + OF RAM, i only had 512 at first and i could not play on high so i was about to get the 7800gt, then when my friend when to work i took his 512 so i could have a Gig and now i can play on all high 4xAA etc Great card but also look at the 7 series
