Great little board
Pros: Great price, great functionality, decent utilities. Runs DDR2400 without XMP or any over clock / voltage adjustment - just tell the BIOS it's there and it will run it.
Cons: ONLY CPU FAN HEADER, AND ONE CASE FAN HEADER!! You'll need splitters or a fan bus if you want to run more than a single case fan!! I luckfully had an extra molex to fan header to use for my exhaust fan. So the H105 + one molex splitter fixed my issue. (The Corsair H105 comes with one splitter already).
Overall Review: If you plan to use a lot of active cooling, be warned!! You can only have two fans with this board out of the box.. and one of them will be your CPU! Otherwise, this board is freakin awesome!.
Very impressive chip.
Pros: I have a 4790k as well as this 4590; that said, I can't really see any notable difference in performance between the two. The 4590 seems to have little issues with most major game titles on the market. Pair this with a nice GPU and you should have little issues maxing everything out there. Keep in mind. Runs fine with the stock cooler around 65C under load.
Cons: Can't really find any.
Great PSU
Pros: Great PSU, powers my 980ti with no issues. Nice modular cables; pretty much don't even need to buy the sleeved cables anymore. The cables look great (unless you need a color other than black!).
Cons: None.
Overall Review: This PSU powers my system without any issue: -Gigabyte 980ti Windforce -Gigabyte Z97 DS3H Rev. 1 Micro ATX -16GB Corsair Dominator DDR2400 @2400 without XMP -Intel 4790k -Corsair H105 (2x 120mm fans on it and the pump) -One corsair 120mm Case fan -Mushkin Reactor 256GB SSD
Very fast.
Pros: Very fast, rock solid. Designed and Engineered in the USA.
Cons: None
Just what I needed
Pros: I just upgraded to a 1440p monitor and picked this mat up to go with it. I am glad I did because I have a lot of screen space to cover now.
Cons: None
Overall Review: It's thinner than you'd expect.
Very nice
Pros: I really like the minimal design, while this isn't a mechanical keyboard the keys feel really good and Linus Tech Tips says they feel similar to the mechanical (I've never owned a mechanical so can't say anything other than they feel good). The back lighting is perfect for my taste, very subtle. I have the back light set to white, and the keys do appear white unlike what some other reviewers have said. Maybe I got a good one, but every color has been distinct.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I am not use to having the Macro keys along the left hand side of the keyboard so sometimes I end up smashing on those rather than control or shift but as I get use to the keyboard it will not be an issue.
They sat on my order for two days and required an email to get them to even get the shipping label printed. Avoid this seller.
