Great USB 3.0 Card4/22/2014 6:48:13 PM

Pros: Fit in the small PCIe slot where I needed it to. Seems to work great for USB 3.0 and older USB devices. A really good price for what you get.

Cons: None thus far!

Overall Review: I've not put a full load on the ports of this card, just a couple of USB drives at a time.

Great refurb11/20/2013 4:52:19 PM

Pros: Looked brand new, not a single scratch or smudge to be had. Downloaded the latest firmware and drivers from Corsair's site and updated the mouse just fine. Mouse has been working great, performs as my old M60 did.

Cons: Didn't come in retail packaging, but I don't really care - Had to put something here.

Overall Review: I dropped and broke my old M60 mouse. The sniper button wasn't as responsive and I dinged and scratched the crud out of it - and the right side plastic grip piece had 2 prongs that broke. I couldn't buy a new M60, so this was my only choice.

Great higher-end card7/1/2013 1:33:07 PM

Pros: I've had this card for several months now. When I first got the card, the drivers were very stable and installed without any problems. I had an old SB Audigy 2 ZS, and there was a definite improvement in sound quality and color. The external ACM beam-forming mic also works great for me.

Cons: At first, I had this card below my AMD 7970 Ghz Edition graphics card and it got very hot. I moved the card and daughter board two spaces above my graphics card and it is no where near as warm on the shield. Also, the first drivers did have a glitch when the mic was unmuted. It would cause sound distortions and loud noises from my speakers at random times. Since the new drivers, I have not had this issue occur.

Overall Review: Do NOT put the sound cards cards below your graphics card or in between them! They will get very hot and not function properly.

Gets real hot4/18/2013 9:55:40 PM

Pros: Worked well for 7 months but tended to get a bit on the hot side. Up to 87C while playing BF3 and World of Tanks in triple screen Eyefinity.

Cons: Had to RMA recently. Started to get in the mid 90sC while playing, even after reapplying new thermal paste. Then XFX brought their support site down and now I cannot log in anymore. I just got the card back, but no notes as to what was found... Seems to be working ok though and not getting as hot as before.

Overall Review: Have good case cooling for this card, especially if you triple screen game! I'm now just going to crack the side of my case open so I don't risk fire like others have mentioned here.

Great gaming mat!3/9/2013 7:00:25 PM

Pros: I like the double-sided feature. Very high quality, durable-feeling and I like the design on the smooth side. I'm using this with my Corsair M60 mouse and they pair nicely. The texture on both sides reminds me of my Razer eXactmat, which is a good thing - As this was replacing that after 7 years of heavy use. I hope this lasts as long!

Cons: None really. There is an orange-red line on the smooth side off on the edge (The pictures show this). Not sure why, but thought I'd mention it. Some may say this is expensive, but I paid more for the Razer eXactmat 7 years ago and this has more mousing area.

Overall Review: I hope this surface lasts as long. Thus far I'm really happy with the feel and size. It is rather large, so if you're fitting this on a keyboard tray like I am be sure to take measurements!

Great gaming bundle!2/8/2013 10:01:20 AM

Pros: These are great games, glad I got the 7970 Ghz Edition with the bundle.

Cons: None! All games were able to be downloaded and played without hassle.

Overall Review: Months of gaming goodness!

Great cable, not for my uses2/5/2013 12:14:58 PM

Pros: Durable construction, long, cheap, as advertised.

Cons: Does not work with my setup. I was hoping to go from HDMI on my XFX 7970 Ghz Edition video card to Displayport on my ASUS PA248Q monitor so all 3 of my screens were using the Displayport input. The video card would not recognize the monitor. Verified the HDMI port worked via a regular HDMI cable on both the video card and monitor.

Overall Review: I do not think the cable is necessarily at fault, so I'm giving this 4 stars. I tested the cable, and it seemed to pass.

Great mechanical drive1/8/2013 10:22:21 PM

Pros: I'm a pretty dedicated PC gamer. I've got over 100 games installed and required fast access and lots of space. This replaced a 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black drive and I can tell the difference in terms of performance. SSDs just don't offer the price/space cost ratio I feel like justifying at the moment. The 1TB Caviar Black is now my backup/data storage drive. I've had this installed for about 3 weeks now with no issues and formatted with a 16k sector size.

Cons: Noise can be a bit louder when doing write access. The rest of the time it's pretty quiet.

Overall Review: Great if you meed space and speed. Packaged well for an OEM drive.

Great cooling solution11/25/2012 5:16:08 PM

Pros: I like the fact this has rubber mounts for vibration dampening. Also produces good airflow and is a fairly quiet fan for its size. The orange glow coming out of the front looks cool mixed with the blue lighting theme my setup otherwise has.

Cons: None that I have found, use a magnetic screw driver if you are actually going to mount drives...

Overall Review: I bought this just to be able to add another 120mm intake fan to my 8 yr old Thermaltake Kandalf case. It fits the case great! I could not add another fan without adding a cage... I'm buying another one to replace the stock case cage and fan that came with the Kandalf so both fans and cages will match.

Fast router for wireless gaming11/12/2012 12:04:57 PM

Pros: -Reliable and fast hard-wired connection -Great web interface. Most I've dealt with are just plain awful -Asus is still supporting this with firmware updates -I like the styling -Fast Wireless b/g/n throughput, even at longer ranges -Many options considering this is a consumer router

Cons: -Hardware NAT disables with QoS and other wireless performance features turned on -Wireless n 2.4/5Ghz was a bit flaky at first, but firmware updates solved those issues -It doesn't make me coffee ;)

Overall Review: Update to the latest firmware, you'll like the changes. I like the styling, but depending on your set-up location the cables sticking out of the side if you stand it up might not look so great.

Great mouse for me!11/12/2012 11:57:28 AM

Pros: -Customizable polling and DPI settings, that change at the press of a button -Quick low DPI switch with the press-and-hold of the "Sniper" button -Solid construction -Weights that can be removed to suit user's preference -Great styling, but not over-the-top -Internal blue LED that can be turned off or on via software

Cons: -The user manual doesn't come with much, but Corsair updated their FAQ -Software has to be downloaded, but not really a con for me. (Might be for you?) It took me 3 minutes to download, update the firmware and install the software. I could figure out how to use it fairly quickly as well. -Pinky rest could extend out a bit farther

Overall Review: I have long fingers, and came from a "claw-grip" Razer Copperhead mouse. This mouse is more comfortable for me and my wrist feels less tired at the end of a gaming session. It did take a bit to adjust to the new method of grip (About a week for me) but I like it better. Every one's hand is different, so this mouse isn't for everyone. I have a Razer eXactMat. This mouse every now and then pauses on the "Control side" (Which I don't really use) but works fine on the "Speed" side (Which is what I've mainly used for the last 7 years)

Great general purpose LCDs!11/12/2012 11:46:57 AM

Pros: -16:10 aspect ratio, hard to come by these days! -Great color reproduction and viewing angles -LED backlit, so they are lighter, consume less power and the whites are whiter and brighter -Awesome base stands, even though I won't be using them -Many connection options, along with a built-in USB 3.0 hub and PiP.

Cons: There is some backlight bleed in the corners. This settles after some use and becomes less noticeable over time. (Probably the frame shifting back after shipping/setup) In games, browsing the web or on the desktop I don't notice it at all. This is an IPS, so there is some IPS glow in low/no light conditions.

Overall Review: I bought three of these to use with my XFX Tristand. They fit great and don't sag on the sides. No dead pixels either! I set the Trace-free setting to 40 to get better pixel response in games and fast moving video. I'm a gamer, but do a lot of web browsing and some graphic work (Both 3d and 2d). This is the best general-purpose monitor to be had at this price that's good or great at everything but not the super best in any one single aspect. Even if I was just a gamer, I'd much rather have an "eIPS" over a regular TN panel because of the off-angle viewing and the color reproduction.

Great drives!6/29/2012 9:05:14 AM

Pros: They are SATA, black so they match my case, and they were cheap. I bought these to replace my aging beige IDE DVD-ROM/CD-RW drives...

Cons: A little noisy when they first init on a POST, but other than that fine.

Overall Review: I got a great deal on these here! I bought two and they are both working great to this day.

Can't beat it or the price2/7/2012 10:46:07 PM

Pros: It's got a swivel, stitching seems solid and has cutouts for the camera, speakers and all the rest. The material seems nice too for not being leather.

Cons: Magnetic on/off doesn't always work. Don't expect to type on it hard when standing.

Overall Review: Can't really beat the price! And the swivel/stand feature is great.

Best keyboard I've ever used!1/16/2012 2:39:17 PM

Pros: I had an old 1st gen Logitech G15 keyboard. After about 7 1/2 years of hard use it was dying on me. I did a lot of research and I wanted a lot of the features the old G15 had, but with mechanical keys. The features I wanted were the adjustable brightness blue backlighting, on-the-fly programmable G keys, disable Windows key button, and Media control buttons. I really like the solid aluminum dole that's used for volume control. The texture is also etched into it. I needed a full palm rest as well, and this one feels really nice, plus it actually screws into the keyboard. I did my research ahead of time and knew that not all keys were mechanical. This actually appealed to me in the sense that I thought I would like the different feel of the F keys, G keys and Home/Page keys - And I do! These are quality rubber dome keys, not your run-of-the-mill dome keys. I like the feel of these better than many mechanical keyboards I've used in the past.

Cons: The newest version of the software is easy to use for me, even if it does lack documentation. It also took a bit of time to search for and download on Corsair's website as it was not included in the box. This I feel is a negative, which is why this review is 4 stars. I could not find anything printed on the packaging about this keyboard having rubber dome keys - This is kinda a big FAIL and goes towards the 4 star review. You can see a few screws on the aluminum backplate - I think it's cool, the one that catches your eye the most is the one next to the Esc key. The rest I don't really notice unless I look hard. Some may find this annoying though.

Overall Review: -There are 2 USB connector ends for this keyboard. One is for the keyboard itself and the other is for the USB pass-through on the back of the keyboard. -The non-mechanical keys are not backlit as brightly as the rest, nor do they have the backlight shining down on the aluminum back plate. This is because of the rubber dome. I can still see them fine in the dark, but they are not as bright. -The spacebar has 2 LEDs underneath, but the key itself is not etched with a backlight. So the LEDs brighten the outline around the spacebar. My old G15 was the same way. -The symbols on the 1-9/0 keys are backlit brighter than the numbers themselves. This doesn't bother me, but it might some people. -With the backlighting off, I can still clearly see the lettering on the keyboard. Way better than my old Logitech G15. -The Num Lock/Scroll Lock/CAPS Lock lights are white LEDs like the G keys. -I like the fact that the G keys are backlit in white, and are on a different plain than the rest of th

Great triple monitor stand10/26/2011 8:50:57 AM

Pros: Well built, great looking base. It look very little time for me to setup. The instructions were also clear and it came packaged very well.

Cons: It can wobble a bit if you knock it. What LCD monitor stand won't though? It's a tad pricey.

Overall Review: I don't regret this purchase at all. It's one of the few triple stands that can hold 24" and 25" LCD monitors.

Great for the price4/13/2011 6:11:22 AM

Pros: Cheap! Works as advertised. Nice gold plated connections with a latch on the bigger end.

Cons: Cable is a bit on the thin side, but this does not seem to matter.

Overall Review: I have two HP display port monitors, and a graphics card with mini display port connections. These were perfect!

Great card for the cash!4/6/2011 7:38:02 PM

Pros: Great card for the cash, I can run up to 6 monitors! Lovely 2GB of memory, comes with the proper power adapters and passive display adapters, for the size and speed stays cooler than I thought when running GPU heavy games/sims.

Cons: None for my needs!

Overall Review: This thing is long, I have a full tower case, and it comes close to my front hard drive bay. Also, any monitors over 3 you WILL NEED active display port adapters if you don't have native display port displays.

Fast mem!2/23/2011 8:31:10 AM

Pros: Great heat spreaders, good timings, 4GB per stick is awesome!

Cons: My mobo didn't like the XMP tRFC setting of 88, had to up to 100 for the system to boot. Found this fix visiting the Patriot support forums. Mobo is a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R. With some mobo arrangements, the memory may be too tall for some 3rd party heatsink/fan combos. Not with my mobo however. :)

Overall Review: Giving this 4 eggs instead of 5 because of the XMP profile not working right with my motherboard. It was a strange issue, and I thought at first I had defective memory...

Great speed!2/2/2011 1:18:44 PM

Pros: Great size per dollar compared to SSDs. I don't really trust SSDs fully yet, so this is the next best solution. Heat spreader keeps the drive cool, cooler than a stock 7200 rpm Caviar Black 1TB drive.

Cons: Can be a tad noisy during writes if your case is "airy". My hard drives sit near the upper rear of my case (Thermaltake Kandalf) so to me it's not really audible.

Overall Review: Using as my OS drive with a pagefile, it's quick! Adobe reader without the preload on startup comes up in a bit less than a second. iTunes with my Media/Music folder on a 1TB Caviar Black drive comes up in 3 seconds. From the Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate loading screen to the desktop where things have stopped starting up in about 20 seconds.

Keepin' it cool!2/2/2011 1:10:16 PM

Pros: Keeps my i7 920 at 3.5 Ghz overclock at 38C idle, with both fans installed blowing at 1250 rpm. Straightforward to install for me, but don't forget the washers on an X58 platform!

Cons: None for me really.

Overall Review: This is a huge heatsink/fan. I would not recommend it for use in mid-size tower cases. It did not block a mem module slot on my board, but I can see where it might on others.

Pros: My wide needed a iPod Nano FM tuner that also charged and held it inplace well. This does all of that and for a great price!

Cons: None

Great TV, and great price!4/28/2010 6:55:27 AM

Pros: Very vivid picture with a great blacks. Also quiet. No color degradation from off angle viewing (A problem with ALL LCDs and DLPs). Many inputs so I can have my XBox 360, Wii, DVD player, and computer plugged in all at the same time. The sound from the built-in speakers is not bad considering they are only 10W each.

Cons: No VGA in, but my graphics card has an HDMI out so no problems for me. Might be for others with older, not-so-high-end graphics cards on their PCs. Only an optical out, but should not be a problem with a modern receiver.

Overall Review: I wish this TV came with a programmable remote, but it's not really a Con as most TVs don't ship with one. I love fact that I can label the inputs on the TV menu so I can see and not have to remember what input goes to what device.
