Pros: easy install in the SYNCRO case, plenty of connections more than you will use. Comes with instructions for use in the SYNCRO case. If you don't have the SYNCRO case I doubt if you would want this.
Overall Review: I used this in a SYNCRO case and it ran well they even have a spot to put the extender that connects to the motherboard and fans.
Pros: comes with four fans and plenty of room for more, ready for water coolers with instructions on how to do it. Very sturdy case with a side window. Is a sleek looking case you can be proud of especially if you use lights. Very goof instructions. The PSU
Cons: If this is your first case with a SYNCRO PSU you might want to look at other options. I used a 650 watt syncro PSU with it and normally I can put together a computer in less than 2 hours this one took me almost 4 hours.
Overall Review: Make sure you follow the instructions carefully. On the PSU it is marked on one side where to plug in everything so pay attention. In my thoughts this has been the hardest case and PSU I have ever built, but it was worth it I expect it to last for years to come.
Pros: Plenty of cord to reach tires, many adapters, digital settings for psi, comes with spare fuse.
All in all this is what you need for low tires.
Overall Review: Had a low tire and was not near a air machine. First thing I did wS get one of these, I let almost all air out of tire and tried it. It worked great.
Cons: downloaded 2 times and when I went to register it said code invalid both times.
Overall Review: when you go to register it only gives option for 2020 and not 2021. That could be the reason for code invalid message. I have spent two hours trying different ways to register it and it would always give me the code invalid message. Of course they don't give the option on 2021 in the drop down menu so I called it a day and gave up. Might be good if they updated their website to include 2021.
Pros: green slim laptop
full size keyboard
keyboard lights up
nvme ssd drive
8 gigs ram with one open slot to upgrade
Cons: room for second hard drive a 2.5 inch SSD but no connector. So if you want to upgrade you just have to get a bigger nvme drive. comes with a small 256 nvme drive
Overall Review: I spent days playing with it and I am going to upgrade the ram for now to 16 gigs. it is snappy now but will be even better once upgraded. I love the color and the full size keyboard. I just wish it had a connector for the second drive. not sure if you can buy an adapter. if I needed a laptop this is one I would buy. Am also upgradinging it to wondows 10 pro.
Pros: Comes with its own thermal paste it's a wide variety of CPUs. Compared to other brands of air coolers this isn't too bad cools 1/2 to Fahrenheit better than the one that I'm using which starts with a z. I like the RGB effect in the 4 pin connector it goes with the colors of my case. Comes with the brackets that you're going to need and all the parts I wouldn't put it in a smaller case Med two above.
Cons: Have to pretty much tear down the whole computer and take out the motherboard to install.
Overall Review: This was harder to review than other items as you have to tear down your case it takes longer to break into thermal paste takes longer to see your temperatures and compared to the other quarters that you are using. I actually waited two full weeks before I left a review just to make sure I got it right. Mine did not come damaged and the RGB effect does look pretty cool with the right color motherboard.
Pros: three programmable keys on keyboard. Back stands on keyboard with a dual wrist rest and dust cover.
optical mouse with five buttons, colors on mouse also with a DPI button that goes from 1600 to 4000.
multimedia buttons and it is a full size keyboard. you can switch gaming keys to three different positions with a push of a button. All in all with the keyboard and mouse combo toy can do almost anything.
Cons: Downside is that it is not mechanical but then again a fraction of the cost. the lights don't go back and forth or create patterns they just stay still at four different levels. have to use certain keys to change macros.
Overall Review: All in all for a keyboard and mouse combo with lights it isn't a bad deal at this cost. I use a mechanical keyboard so will probably put this up till it wears out But for a cheaper keyboard for gaming this isnt a bad deal at all. The more I use this keyboard and mouse I like it. I use a higher DPI on the mouse for gaming on my dual screens and it makes it sweet. For the price you cant go wrong. I have kept using this keyboard after all.
Pros: interchangeable finger rest. Wireless or wired interchangeable you can use either one the RGB lighting
Cons: not really a con but make sure you charge it for a few hours before using.
Overall Review: I like the thought of interchangeable finger rest what was the original one I ended up using. in games like Left 4 Dead 2 or Black Squad it wasn't that bad but in high-performance games like Battlefield Bad Company it tended not to catch up to what I was doing. I already had the software installed for the lighting as I have the same brand keyboard but I found it the lighting options were very limited only like three ways to change the RGB lighting. all in all for the price that you pay for this mouse I am sure you could find a better one for the same price or cheaper. as I use my mouse for gaming a lot I only use a corded laser mouse and I was really hoping that this mouse would be able to replace it to get rid of the cord that I'm always dragging around. maybe with driver updates this issue will be solved. The battery lasted about 5 days and so it let me try a few other games like battlefield 2 and far cry 2 also battlefield bad company 2 and did have a problem with any of them. Maybe charging it for a few hours helped. It isn't as good as my laser mouse but comes in a close second.
Pros: Now this is what everyone needs. A central place to backup desktops, laptops, cell phones. I have already backed up my laptop and three cell phones with my desktop.
Cons: Cant back up complete folders. At least I haven't found a way to do it yet. Also it doesn't show on the registration page so don't count on that. Also you can not back up apps that are on your cell phone. To me that is a huge letdown.
Overall Review: Best part is I can watch movies that I have on it on my smart Television. Think of it being 500 miles away and having access to your work or play files. Best part is it is in raid 1 mode so you never have to worry about losing your information. I am sure as time goes on I will find more uses for it. Great for movies and music and files you might need. My daughter loves it so much now I can upload family picks and all she has to di is sign into my cloud duo and download the pictures she wants. She even puts her homework on it then downloads it at work to print the other R.N.'s are jealous of her and that makes my day. And the data is safe as it being in Raid 1.
Pros: a lot faster than a regular SSD I use this with an M 2 1tb Drive I've got about a 8 second startup time and all programs open instantly
Cons: tricky install
Overall Review: I contacted tech support because I couldn't get my computer to see this with Windows 7 after about 2 hours on the phone with them we were able to get it and this initialized and formatted and I used a cloning program and cloned my C drive which was an SSD to this drive we had to download two hot fixes and make some folders to install them too the tech support guy actually took control of my computer and did it all for me can't get easier than that so five stars for the product and 10 Stars for Brian and support.
Pros: Build quality is better than average.
Set from 30% up on humidity control, Shows temperature plus what the humidity is after you set it.
All digital controls and easy read outs.
washable filter on air intake.
Bucket holds a little over 2 gallons.
includes a 15 foot clear hose for easy draining with built in pump.
Packaged well with easy to read and understand instructions.
Already installed rollers for easy moving.
EDIT : Two years later and is still going strong. Hooked straight into drain so no emptying bucket.
Cons: Would like a little stronger pump.
Overall Review: I live within two miles of the Mississippi river so is very humid in the summer here. I have an older Kenmore with dials in the basement which works decent for its age. I started with this upstairs using the bucket. In two days on low with humidity set to 50% I had to empty the bucket 5 times. My air conditioner is always set to 73 as the wife has to stay cool. In the first 4 hours of operation she adjusted the AC up to 76 and she said it felt colder than it did now with the Friedrich's running at 76 than without it on 73. After two days I was planning on putting it down the basement but she talked me out of it. I emptied the Kenmore 3 times on low with humidity dial set in middle. With it sleek look and the quietness of the unit I don't think she will ever let me put it down the basement now. I have now set the hose up for draining so no more buckets. I plumbed it in to the dishwasher drain and I turned the humidity up to 55% to see if it made a huge difference in the way the AC unit cools. We now keep the AC on 75 so I am saving money there. I figure I will break even on the electric cost and my upstairs is much drier now. When I plumbed in the drain I had to go up about 2 inches after 5 foot then back down to the drain. I was worried it wouldn't be able to go up that slight rise but it did. My idea spot would of took it up about 8 inches but it wouldn't push the water up that incline. If I tried that with my Kenmore even by an inch the water wouldn't drain. I am impressed by this humidifier. When you pick it up it is heavy and that tells you a lot about the build quality. This brand name wasn't known to me but now I see how it is built and works I would feel comfortable buying anything with Friedrich on it period. It is actually quieter than my name brand Kenmore. All I have to say is if this company doesn't take over the market in a short time I would be very surprised.
I didn't have any reason to call support so I cant tell you if it is good or bad but the quality speaks for itself.. Having a pump in it makes it even easier to drain. Has been 8 months now and still running strong.
Pros: Does what it is made for.
Handles my 3 camera set up easily
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Ran this three days on a three camera system at 1080p and it didn't even fill it up after three days. I would feel secure leaving this running and only stopping it if something happens. 2TB is plenty big enough for my needs and playback is wonderful. This will last about a week in my system without overwriting previous recorded writes. That is plenty long enough for me.
Now if I needed to let it record longer than a week 2TB would not be enough for 30 days it would take a 6 TB drive. But in my business I am rarely gone longer than 5 days at a time. Low power is just a plus. 9/19/17 edit. So I have used this since the end of august and I have to tell you it is so silent that I cant even tell it is running I went thru some of the video to see the quality compared to last hard drive I was using and even the quality seems better. Will update when I catch someone doing something they shouldn't be.. UPDATE now it is 03/1/2018 and still running strong.
Pros: 3 sped fan controller, side panel window. tool less hard drive design, Removable side panel with the USB 3.0 and audio jacks.
screws that don't come out all the way so no more lost screws. Instructions tell you the size of video card and CPU cooler you can use.
Cons: The two front fans are covered by half the case so you are only drawing in air thru half the front and to make it worse you can add two hard drives right behind the fans blocking most of the air. So you are just blowing air out the back unless you buy more fans for the top.
Overall Review: With all the dead space on one side they could of put a slim DVD player upright and had a better design. They could also put four holes in the side panel for the hot video cards made today. This is actually the third time writing this review and each time it kicks me back out to the sign in page then makes me start over so either they don't like one star reviews or the page is messing up. For the price you can get better airflow cases . I am using this in my spare computer room for the kids and so far even with the complaints I had the kids love it and not one time since I put it in there has it shut down because of heat. I also find it easy to add hard drives and dvd drives when they go out. So I have change my rating on it, UPDATE I have been using this case as it came up until a month ago, No problems overheating but it did seem a bit warm so I added two top fans to the front controller and set the front and top fans on low and it was very quiet. Went into a stress test game and as soon as the temp started to climb I set the fans to hi and now I had a little bit of noise but not to bad and the temps stayed down. So I guess I will leave it the way it is and getting to the top fans isn't hard. Just take out the two rear screws and pull back on top of case then raise it up took all of 5 minutes to install the top fans and hook them into the fan controller. So because of the ease of installing top fans and the coolness of the case as in low temps now I changed the rating. When ordering this case I would order at least one top fan if you want all fans to be controlled by front switch. The front switch will only control four fans. I have mine controlling the front two and the top two.
Pros: Easy to put on, has belt clip, clear screen protector. hard shell screen protector.
Overall Review: Worth every penny to protect my LG Stylo 2 phone. Have dropped it a couple of times an no damage didn't even leave a mark on the case. To me this is better than phone insurance it protects your phone that good. I have dropped this many times and at the furthest drop was about 7 foot I was working on a ladder at the time, Not even a scratch or broken screen. Any doubts I had are gone.
Pros: well made product
Cons: can not be unlocked
Overall Review: This phone can not be unlocked at all and boost mobile refuses to let you unlock it so you can use a different carrier.
Pros: First off as an item i recived to review i found it very heavly built.Single 12 volt rail which is always preferred over a dual rail psu. I found the power cord heavier built than other 1200 watt psu I have used in builds. I wound not plug this into an outlet cord or strip. 7 year warranty which outdoes other PSU of this range by at least 2 years.
Cons: none so far if I run into any down the road I will re do my review here.
Overall Review: Comes with a carrying case for spare cords and a wrap case for the PSU itself which I don't see you having to use unless it is to send it in for warranty repair. Years ago when o bought my first 1000 watt PSU I paid 2 times this price. There are more than enough cords for whatever you need. Strange part I fond is where some are braided cord and other are the flat cord types. On the flat cord types I found that the extra little bit of room they gives you comes in handy for multiple sata hard drives. On a lot of newer video cards they require at least 300 watt for a single card and up to 500 watt for a dual card setup. Remember that is just for the video card..
I used mine in a mid work smok series case and I had plenty of room. Though I agree might be tight with a smaller atx case which I never use anymore. Mid tower is the smallest I use. In over the 8 years I have been buying Corsair Pus units and I do build a lot of the 30 or 40 so far I have only had one go bad in warranty period. I always over power any rig for future proofing. The PSU is the one part you don't want to go short on. If you think you need a 800 watt buy a 1000 watt. It will pay off in the future.
If I think I need a 500 watt PSU I always use a 650 as a general rule of thumb. For the cost point of this PSU you are getting a steal. I have used this for a couple of weeks and the fan has yet to come on and it does not run hot at all. I am going to switch it to an amd 280x and crossfire to stress it. UPDATE as of 7-15-2017 it is still running strong without any problems.
Pros: I like the 2 extra USB charging ports or you can do like I have done and hook up 2 more external drives to them. Comes formatted in NTFS and Seagate dashboard is a easy to use application. It has back up so easy to keep your data backed up to the drive. You can set your own schedule or use continuous so every time you changed your computer it keeps up with that change. I actually use both so if I need to roll it back I have it keep a weekly back up. Very easy to register and it does take a bit for the first time backing up. I get an average of 102 Mbps transfer speed on mine. Glossy black finish makes it look sweet on my desktop.
Overall Review: Plenty of room actually comes out to 5.45 terabytes and you get 200 gig of cloud storage for free for two years. I have my laptop also set up for back up. I do not know what the other reviewer meant by giving password for email I just made up a different password for my mobile account. I also in transferring over 500 gigs of information got 102 Mbps transfer speed out of it. It takes a 120 volt plug in included with it and it comes with the USB 3.0 cable. I cut 4 small rubber pads for it to keep it off desktop table. Cords are plenty long enough to have it set on your computer table and keep it hooked up at all times. The packaging is well thought out and I cant see it coming damaged to any ones door. I have a 2 Terabyte hard drive connected to mine also and I leave one port open for USB drives or to charge tablet while I am on desktop. A well thought out external hard drive. They came out with an update for it about a month ago and I noticed a large improvement in transfer speeds and the speed in which it backs up my computer. A must have for someone like me that has critical information that can not be lost because a hard drive goes out.
Pros: Installed software on windows 7 easy. Adjust many settings including sensitivity, Performs better than expected and tells you how much power you are using. Using windows 10 it all works also. four battery back up plug ins and four more that are just surge protection.
Overall Review: Didn't think it was going to be strong enough at first. Once I downloaded and installed software I found I could set the sensitivity and see performance. I use a 1200 watt psu in my custom computer I also have the printer and modem set to this and plenty of wiggle room for more use. On average I am using 125 watts with it and it also tells you runtime. To me the software is what makes this worth it. Viewing current status and highs and lows and being able to change settings is o big point to this. To give you an idea about the software under tab Monitor system it gives you a general idea about system then there is Performance it gives option of how long to show reports for and lowest time is 4 weeks. Blackout, under voltage, overvoltage are some of the problems it reports. Then tab Current status tells you how full battery is mine reports 101 percent and what input voltage is mine reports 124 volts. Then tab Options lets you pick auto updates and show icon in taskbar. Then tab runtime lets you pick between 5 to 8 minutes till it auto shuts down computer to save power to keep things like modem and network going. Then tab Notifications lets you pick time and or audible alarms. Then tab Sensitivity has three settings low, med, high. Then tab Voltage lets you pick what voltage is when backup kicks in. Then you have a tab for energy management which I don't use. Then on next block called help and support you have four tabs for what it says tech support and contact and about and technical data which would be used during a support session. So knowing what the software does you must use the supplied cord USB to battery backup and then download and install software from APC website which covers everything from windows 98 and up to windows 10 including servers and many Linux versions. I know it works on windows 7 and windows 10 because I have both and have tested it on both just make sure the supplied cord is firmly plugged into battery back up and a USB port on the rear of your computer. Seems at times the front USB ports are iffy. Has four plug in for battery back up and then four for just surge protection. It has of those plug in 3 called master which I haven't played with much. Make sure you take off the slide cover on back and connect battery up for the battery back up to work and charge as it comes un plugged to the ground.
Electric went out yesterday. I unplugged my computer from battery back up and left my cable modem and router and television plugged in and lo and behold my cable worked on t.v. and I had wireless signal to my tablet. I timed it and it lasted 73 minutes at which time electric came back on. So I would say it worked as it should. Lights finally went out in the last storm. I played a few games on my computer and watched a dvd on my television. So the blackout lasted 6 hours and this powered my computer, television, dvd player and cable modem and network box and one lamp. Felt like I was on top of the world why my neighbors all stood outside looking around...
Pros: Easy to use, Keystrokes register fast, Adjustable lighting effects with C.U.E.
Micros work well using registered keystrokes.
Cons: Emailed support one week ago with a question and as of this time never received an answer.
Overall Review: I had to download the K65 software to use it and I did email support about this but didn't get an answer I can attest that using on windows 10 or windows 7 That it works I cant fully program some keys on windows 7 and not sure why as it works in windows 10. In Windows 7 you have to use the regular keystrokes in a game but you can program it so the keys stay held down for a period of time. So in windows 7 if you use the W key to walk with you can program it so it if you hit W key it holds it down for the length of time you want but you cant change F1 weapon key to be used for different weapons. You still have to hit F2 and so on to change weapons.
In Windows 10 I didn't have that limitation I could use F1 to change to any weapon I wanted so not sure what is up with that.
My main con is one problem I haven had with Corsair support before as I have multiple SSD's and other Corsair products. Out of all the Corsair products I own in the last 4 years I have only had one SSD go bad and it took two weeks for that. On the support page they ask for a copy of receipt and of coarse this being a Newegg review product you don't have one to give them and that could very well be why support is taking so long in getting back to me. I would be careful using the keys as they are super sensitive in comparison to a regular keyboard that you would pay fifteen dollars for. My only other mechanical keyboard is not as sensitive as this one is. As of June 15th they now have a cue driver just for this keyboard. What I like about the CUE driver is that the same driver works for every product that they sell that uses it. So one download works my mouse, keyboard, and mouse pad.
Pros: 8TB of space
3 year warranty
Overall Review: I installed this into my server and first thing I noticed is that it was almost so silent you couldn't tell it was running. My server consist of 4 x 8TB drives so I removed one and installed this then configured it to be part of the server. I noticed as data was reloading it started out at what the specs said it would do about 240MBps. After a minute into it the spend started to drop and within 5 minutes it had dropped to 42MBps. I had over 180 gigs to transfer to it and I really wanted it to go faster but as it was I left the room and came back every 15 minutes to check on it. A couple of hours later the data was finished and it was now a part of my server.
How long it is going to last I don't know at this time but will update the review if at anytime during the next year or two it goes out.
So far I have been lucky in the 3 servers that I run I have only had one hard drive ever drop out and this is in the last 5 years that I have been running them. I have a game server but did not make this NAS hard drive a part of it but instead made it a part of my work server so other employees could have the benefit of it also.
On a side note I have hardly any heat coming off this drive compared to my other drives. What surprised me is I use 2 different benchmark programs and they both after testing said this drive is doing 250MBps read and write but during an actual data transfer it was only writing 42MBps after a short time. Benchmarks are great but if in real world data transfers the speed is only a fraction of what is rated then I have to go off the real world data transfers.
So for the money you are getting a 8TB drive that runs cool and if you are using in a server after the initial building there isn't a lot of writing to do to the drive just reading it is a decent deal. Matter of fact am probably going to get 3 more of these because of the coolness of the drive alone makes it worth it in my server and also because of the noise factor. I will at lease one server that runs quiet and cool compared to what I am used to.
Pros: Handle controls, slow and fast speeds, Compact, Swivel head.
Overall Review: They make an optional hardwood floor head for this that you can order from shark for twenty three dollars. I ordered one as it is the reason I bought this. You get this so cheap anyway it is worth getting the other head for it. The handle controls make it nice and even though some people complain of the small storage for the dirt it is good enough for how I use it.
I have another shark we use on the carpet and after I run it I will go back over it with this one on high and still get more dirt up so I would say on deep clean this vacuum works great.
The rebate is only good for one or I would of bought more at the price I paid.
Speeds close to what is advertised
Cons: Short Warranty
Overall Review: Bought a few of these and all are still working. Brought life back into my laptops and improved boot times.
Even installed one as a desktop drive and it is still working. The 90 day warranty worried me at first but I have had these long enough now that I have gotten my moneys worth. I keep all my info backed up weekly so if one did go out it wouldn't cripple me.
Pros: it works, USB 3 to sata 3 adapter
Overall Review: I have to do a lot of outside work on external hard drives for laptops, cloneing and backing up and this adapter has performed flawlessly for me so far on 30 or so jobs. I used to carry a bulky adapter so this one is so nice no power adapters to worry about. If you need this to read laptop drives then be assured it works.
Pros: USB pass through
Long braided cord
Many lighting effects available through CUE software.
Uses same CUE as my keyboard so one program runs both
Rigged bottom mat for non slip
Smooth top mat for mouse to slide on
Overall Review: I have the K65 keyboard and was pleasantly surprised that the same CUE software works on both items now, On the left just click on the item as in keyboard or mouse pad that you want to change and it will bring up the options for it. One note if you are running windows 7 you will need to download and install update KB3033929 for CUE to see this pad properly on each start up. For many this isn't a problem as windows will normally install that update anyway once it sees that you need it.
The braided cord is plenty long enough as my tower is a good distance from my computer desk and I was using a USB extension for my mouse and now with the pass through USB port on the mouse pad I don't need the extension for my laser mouse. It also has many lighting effects you set through the software, I found the rain to go best with my keyboard pattern but if like rainbow or pulse or spiral that works also.
The build construction of this mouse pad is very well done they thought of all a gamer like me would need with the non slip lower mat so it doesn't move and the top slick surface mat so my mouse is easy to move. If you are like me and use a laser mouse with many settings and DPI settings you might find yourself turning it down by one because it glides so smoothly. The braided cord means you don't have to worry about wearing the cord as you pull in and out your keyboard tray or it getting caught in the slides.
The CUE software has been updates as on June 7th 2017 so it shows that Corsair is staying on top of the products it releases which is a problem for a lot of companies I have brought products from.
Over all I like this product and am sure as some of my friends see it they will want one for themselves and I will not have a problem with recommending this pad to them.
Pros: Mine came with a different model it was a newer model so it had a 15.1 inch screen and a bigger hard drive. I ordered three of them and two came as described. All three worked and looked like new with very few marks on them.
Overall Review: I ordered 3 of these all worked and one had a bad battery I contacted customer service at number provided with laptop and 4 days later had a new battery. Didn't take 5 minutes on phone with them so I was impressed. Two came as described and the third was a Dell Latitude E6500 that has a 15.1 inch screen and a 250 gig hard drive. I replaced all hard drives with SSD drives using a clone and resize program called AOMEI back up and it was free to use and download. Worked grat on all three and really improved the speed. I bought these on july 15th of 2016 and all three are still working with no problems. Updating them was a pain as windows 7 has a lot of updates but also I updated them using the original hard drives so if something happened to the SSD drives I could pop in the old hard drives till I got a new SSD to put in it. So good customer service and a working product is worth 5 stars. As you can see I waited almost a full year before posting this review and all still work great.
