Fits my quality, cost, and port needs

ViewSonic VP2468 24 Inch Premium IPS 1080p Monitor with Advanced Ergonomics, ColorPro 100% sRGB Rec 709, 14-bit 3D LUT, Eye Care, HDMI, USB, DP Daisy Chain for Home and Office
ViewSonic VP2468 24 Inch Premium IPS 1080p Monitor with Advanced Ergonomics, ColorPro 100% sRGB Rec 709, 14-bit 3D LUT, Eye Care, HDMI, USB, DP Daisy Chain for Home and Office

Pros: I like that this product had a good review from PC magazine, and I found its advantages to be - good color and no dead pixels - easy to access USB ports for plugging in camera, phone, etc. - easy to use swivel, rotate, tilt, height adjustment - solid base aids stability

Cons: - My computer tried to route the sound through the monitor, but nobody uses their monitor's speakers, so that doesn't matter. I was able to use Windows to return the output to my speakers without any problem

Overall Review: A lot of people are looking for more USB ports on their computer. No need to upgrade the computer or install more ports. Upgrade your monitor and get a few ports as bonus.

Great except for the freeze and reboot

ASUS Google Nexus 7 FHD (2013) Android Tablet - 2 GB RAM Quad-Core CPU 16 GB Flash (Wi-Fi Only)
ASUS Google Nexus 7 FHD (2013) Android Tablet - 2 GB RAM Quad-Core CPU 16 GB Flash (Wi-Fi Only)

Pros: I ordered this tablet in part because I have always liked Asus products, which have been reliable. This is a fantastic tablet with great resolution -- the best on the market. Intuitive use -- I didn't read a manual and had Facebook, The Economist, and Pandora installed in minutes. As usual, ordering with New Egg was easy -- and getting an RMA when I had to return it was also easy.

Cons: My tablet suffers from a serious defect described in Google Product Forums. The tablet would freeze and reboot or just reboot. It happens during all kinds of applications. I like the tablet enough that I will re-order after Google/Asus sort our the problem.

SSD is must-have technology

Intel X25-M Mainstream 2.5" 80GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSA2MH080G2R5
Intel X25-M Mainstream 2.5" 80GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSA2MH080G2R5

Pros: SSD is the technology I most wanted in a new machine. It certainly delivered. With Windows 7, I can go from power button to freely browsing in IE in less than 50 seconds. The load delays of a few seconds when opening a file or program are all gone. -Comes with 3.5 inch adaptor -Comes nicely packaged -Intel brand name -80 GB was enough for Win 7 Pro, Office Pro, 1 game, a few office programs, 10 GB of data, and a full 8 GB iPod. I still have 30 GB left. 30 GB remaining is not enough, so do yourself a favor and go ahead and retain your old magnetic disk or buy a new one. After getting down to 30 GB a week after ordering, I ordered a supplementary 320GB drive from Newegg to hold music and backup data. Anybody who plays modern games, uses a backup, or stores video needs a supplementary magnetic disk.

Cons: - You may find a few 80GB drives for less money (but none name-brand at the time of this writing) - Does not come with SATA II cable (but your modern-era motherboard should have come with this cable)
