Pros: Battery life is great (of course I didn't expect the 8.5 hours advertised) but ran my own 'tests': -battery lasted 5.5 hours with wireless 720p movie streaming in the background the whole time while I was using it (surfing, word processing, spreadsheets) using RF mouse -battery lasted 4.5 hours with wireless 720p movie streaming in the background the whole time while I was using it (surfing, word processing, spreadsheets) and using a bluetooth mouse Very thin for a laptop (thinner than the base alone of my wife's work laptop :) as well as light. Power cord is a respectable 5-6 ft. I point this out as I've used laptops where the cord is only 3ft or so which makes it very difficult to plug in and use simultaneously, especially while travelling with no extension cord handy.

Cons: Screen *appears* flimsy, I try to open and close it using the middle of the screen edge rather than a corner as there is noticable flex when putting force on the corner. Keyboard needs adjustment time, left side shift key is much shorter than a full size keyboard's, enter key is much narrower as well. A lot of bloatware pre-installed but that's no surprise. Battery is not removable so no user replacement (or extra battery) without voiding warranty.

Overall Review: Hdd space is limited but is expected using ssd. Had about 60gbs available after first boot and setup. Bought it pre-sale for $899 and took delivery Jan/12 and no problems so far after 3 months of use. Chose this over Apple Air as it has similar specs (I'm not too hung up over minor spec differences) for a better price. For work and content creation, I much prefer using this than my tablets, which is what I bought it for. A portable laptop for work and travel, not for gaming or heavy duty photo/movie editing, was what I was looking for and it's what I got. I would not hestiate to recommend this to anyone looking for the same.
