Pros: Despite the noise it would read and write and if I let the drive idle for about 15 minutes it would hibernate and stop clicking.

Cons: Drive made loud clicking sounds in various patterns, it clicked while sitting in BIOS, it clicked when it was reading and writing, it even clicked when the data cable was disconnected.

Overall Review: I've exclusively used Western Digital for 20 years now and have only had one failure which I think was my fault, this was certainly a surprise, hopefully a shipping issue. I have recordings of the sound but they've all been rejected by Newegg so I can't upload them.
