Great RAM, when all modules work!
Pros: Great RAM at a great price. 100% stable, even when overclocked to 2600 speeds. Haven't tried going any higher, no need at this time.
Cons: One module out of my first kit was bad. PC would not post at all with it installed, even when setting RAM speed set very low. Replacement kit works perfectly, and even overclocks a little.
Overall Review: Can't beat the price. And Crucial/Micron makes some really good stuff for the most part.
Total Defense? Total junk!
Pros: It comes in a box?
Cons: This software was originally CA (Computer Associates). Not one of, but the absolute worst consumer AV/IS program I've ever had to deal with. It slows a computer down worse than any virus, and can't even detect the most common virus/malware. Heuristics? They say they have a heuristic scanner but it appears to be broke. Plus, if the uninstaller breaks (common) there is no supported removal tool. Which means you'll have to go through and remove all the junk it installs manually.
Overall Review: Please, choose anything else. Really. Even McAfee is better.
Silent cooling for a great price!
Pros: Very good cooling for lower to mid-range cards, silent. Price cannot be beat!
Cons: Somewhat difficult installation, bottom of heatsinks could be a bit more smooth, install manual needs revision..
Overall Review: Heatsink is currently installed on a 6200 from Leadtek in a totally passively cooled linux box. Does get a bit warm after gaming for an hour as to be expected, but not anywhere near as hot as the stock heatsink. Great item, given you have the patience to install it.
