Most Favorable Review

Go for the 1230

Intel Xeon E3-1220 V2 Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.5GHz Turbo) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 69W BX80637E31220V2 Server Processor
Intel Xeon E3-1220 V2 Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.5GHz Turbo) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 69W BX80637E31220V2 Server Processor

Pros: Yes this is a fast chip with vt-d and support for normal or ecc memory.

Cons: One egg dropped for value due to lack of hyperthreading as the 1230 has.

Overall Review: This chip and the 1225 is overpriced by about 20 dollars in the IVY B lineup.

Disappointing

LG ME20CR-BF Black 20" 6ms (GTG) LCD Monitor Factory Refurbished 300 cd/m2 800:1 (LG recertified Grade A)
LG ME20CR-BF Black 20" 6ms (GTG) LCD Monitor Factory Refurbished 300 cd/m2 800:1 (LG recertified Grade A)

Pros: This monitor was manufactured in 2011. Zero dead pixels. Good viewing angles.

Cons: The brightness was set from factory at 100% and that was barely bright enough for acceptable when fully warmed up. The picture is not nearly as sharp as it should be. Color is ok. In sum I have LG L200ME's from 2008 that are much brighter and better looking. My 10 year old Dell FP2001 looks much better. If return shipping wasn't so high I would have returned this. Glad they ran out of stock because I wont be ordering any more of these.

Overall Review: Put your money into something else.

WARNING! Serious security flaws!

Asus Certified RT-N66R Dual-Band Wireless-N900 Gigabit Router, DD-WRT Open Source Support
Asus Certified RT-N66R Dual-Band Wireless-N900 Gigabit Router, DD-WRT Open Source Support

Pros: See below:

Cons: Disable UICloud and FTP immediately! Don't connect a drive to the router, don't use the network segment to serve files, and don't face the router naked to the internet with out a firewall. Asus should issue an apology AND send the new products to a respected third party firm to probe for security flaws--clearly they are not capable of overseeing this. I want independent verification that these will be safe to use after a firmware update. Search: "Dear Asus router user: You’ve been pwned, thanks to easily exploited flaw" Hackers expose eight-month-old Asus weakness by leaving note on victims' drives. Asus has an F rating with the BBB. They knew about this and chose not to do anything till the group leaks the flaw. No wonder they have a BBB F rating. SHAME!

BEWARE DISCONTINUED PRODUCT

Synology DS212J Diskless System DiskStation Budget-friendly 2-bay NAS Server for Small Office and Home Use
Synology DS212J Diskless System DiskStation Budget-friendly 2-bay NAS Server for Small Office and Home Use

Pros: Looks good and has good reviews but . . .

Cons: . . . product is DISCONTINUED 4/18/2013 at SYNOLOGY website. The egg should reflect this. I feel had. How long will this be supported/updated? We dont know. Probably a few years. Good Luck. Not good enough, especially at this price point. Please just communicate Synology, otherwise clients will be not happy. What do I do now send it back and get something else or what? Seezsh!

Way overpriced

Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 8GB (2 x 4GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model 996741
Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 8GB (2 x 4GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model 996741

Pros: Its 8 GB.

Cons: It's way over priced. $25 a GB? Really? You can get memory for the fastest platforms of today for less than $7 a GB. Sell the computer and get a new one!

240GB SSDs make this obsolete and a bad buy

Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD1500HLHX 150GB 10000 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD1500HLHX 150GB 10000 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Fast encrypted drive option. Was good but expensive before SSD.

Cons: Not that fast Very expensive per GB and for ok performance.

Overall Review: Why buy this when you can get 240GB SSD on sale for this price? Except for encryption or secure wiping there is no reason I can think of to use this HD.
