FANTASTIC case for the money!
Pros: All the other reviews praise this case -- I concur! Go read the other reviews for the details. I've been building PCs for more than 20 years and this CHEAP case (I paid $20 + $10 ship) thrilled me more than most of the others I've worked in. I LOVE the esthetic, especially given the low price, and the layout, black interior with "safe" rolled edges, front 120mm fan position and quiet included fan are all excellent. There's even enough room for a Cooler Master Hyper TX2 92mm tower CPU cooler with maybe 5-10mm to spare, which I was thrilled about!
Cons: - The screw holes in the video card bracket did not line up properly with the case -- had to "force" the card backwards in order to get ONE screw into the bracket. That's NOT a good situation because you just don't know what excess pressure is being applied to the mobo and video card. - There are *3* SSD mounting points, not 2 as the description indicates, but the one at the bottom of the case was poorly thought out. It should be raised from the bottom so that the SATA power plug can be inserted. As it is, it would require you to put a spacer under the drive in order to raise it up (maybe 2-3mm foam pads) enough to allow the power plug to be inserted (right angle power plugs, which most PSUs have nowadays, would not work PERIOD!). Don't know what they were thinking there. - It's very, VERY tight for working inside! I had to remove my video card several times in order to plug/unplug the front panel connectors because I was having trouble with my mobo and then I swapped the power and reset switches by mistake. - I like the top mounted PSU position but if you're installing a 140mm ATX PSU and an optical drive I can imagine it would be very, *VERY* tight. I used a modular SFX PSU so that helped a LOT, but my blu-ray drive is longer than a standard 170mm drive so it's STILL pretty tight.
Overall Review: I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this case for it's tiny size, good quality and excellent design and esthetic. This really is a five-egg product (for the money), but I decided to dock an egg because of the few nagging issues and the very flimsy interior steel (I was SHOCKED at how much the mobo tray flexed when I plugged in the 24 pin!).
VERY Quiet Fans, Underwhelming Lighting
Pros: I'm *VERY* picky about fan noise and I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at how quiet these fans are. The lighting is very pretty with lots LEDs around the inside perimeter.
Cons: The lighting effects are pretty underwhelming and the "instructions" are poor. My BIGGEST gripe, as with MANY products, is that the effect you have chosen is NOT "REMEMBERED" after the fans are turned off and back on. The "default" effect is the RAINBOW and that's what comes on EVERY TIME you turn the fans on. If I choose a different effect while the computer is on, that effect should RETURN the next time I turn the computer on: it doesn't! Very poor, Rosewill ... VERY POOR!
Overall Review: I like the fans, I like the lighting effects, even tho they are VERY limited and more than a little underwhelming, and I like the controller hub, which is magnetic and therefore sticks to the back of your case motherboard tray. I also like the remote, which is optical instead of RF. HOWEVER, the fans defaulting to the Rainbow effect every time is a DEAL BREAKER for me! I'm stuck with them now, but keep this fact in mind when considering a purchase.
Very good product, for what it is
Pros: Fans are very quiet (on lowest speed)--noise is SUPER-IMPORTANT to me. Tons of lighting effects. Most importantly: the fan speed and lighting effects you've chosen are REMEMBERED after you power cycle the computer, which was my number one requirement.
Cons: I was dying to get "ring fans," but now that I actually BOUGHT some, I found out that the lighting effects are pretty boring. They look cool when you watch videos in which the computer in the background has them running, but they're actually kinda lame, IMO.
Overall Review: I would suggest you look for LED fans that have LEDs in the hub AS WELL AS in the "ring". That way you can actually SEE the fan blades. I didn't think I WANTED to see the fan blades, but, actually, the lighting effects look a LOT BETTER if you CAN see the fan blades.
