Pros: SMALL, EASY TO HANDLE, RESPONSIVE
Cons: There seems to be NO POSITIVE reason to have the RF button ON this keyboard as it disconnects the 2.4 connection
Overall Review: This is an entirely new (yes, I'm LATE to the scene) remote keyboard/mouse for Home Theatre use!
Pros: Provides 3 (2 additional) USB3 ports and a NET interface. Transfers from any USB3 HDD through the device to a SATA drive went fine in the 125 MBps range.
Cons: Even after loading the USB3 drivers and USB3 drivers for this device I found transferring across its ports would yield only 10 MBps.
Overall Review: As long as I don't need to transfer data between ports it works fine to establish additional USB3 ports.
Pros: Performs as advertised. Comes with tall & short case adapter.
Overall Review: I had a lightning strike to kill my on-board NET connection and PCI slot. This uses the PCIe slot and works fine!
Pros: As advertised... arrived quickly!
Cons: No prepaid return label for old battery... I don't think even APC is prepaying either so this isn't such a con, more a new industry standard.
Overall Review: I knew this is an ABC battery. I was buying a non-APC battery and took the risk. My last APC lasted 4 years so we'll see how this holds up. This battery arrived in a VERY NICE foam-fitted, rigid box, has the connector attached and simple instructions to change it, I'll not spend the $26 UPS wants for me to send it to recycle... MY LOCAL Lowe's, Home-Depot are recycle centers.
Pros: LARGE 4TB capacity, USB 3.0, transfer speeds, power saver (sleeps when not being accessed), portable, quiet, and prompt delivery (second day arrival) using FREE shipping! (Guess the logistics between their warehouse and my house were all aligned.)
Cons: Can't think of any...
Overall Review: I liked the first one so much I bought another! I'd transferred SSD to USB 3 at 170 mB/s originally... then I thought to try USB 3 to USB 3 and achieved 140 then 120 mB/s... pretty good I'd say! I have this hung off my bedroom PC and share with my LAN so watching content from it in my theatre room is a no brainer. The power saver makes me feel better about it not just spinning all day, and the huge capacity... well, everyone needs a couple of these on their HTPC, right! It came preloaded with WD applications which I've not looked into -- I just create a folder as my own ROOT and share it as a storage device. Twice it'd gone on sale for under $140 - who can stand passing that great deal!
