OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3G1600LV6GK
OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3G1600LV6GK

Pros: It's memory. It works like it's supposed to and screams along. It looks pretty too. Shiny and stuff. Newegg rocks as usual!

Cons: Nada

Overall Review: Purchased with a Core i7 420 Nehalem and the ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard. This replaced an AMD 6000+ on a Gigabyte board with 2GB of memory. VERY HAPPY with the set up!

NZXT Guardian 921 CS-NT-GD921-B Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
NZXT Guardian 921 CS-NT-GD921-B Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Pretty blue lights and a neat looking robotic kind of terminator face at the front. Plenty of space to store drives and whatnot.

Cons: Case was already broken when I recieved it. I won't blame that on Egg because Egg isn't in charge of packaging. The plastic is barely held on by very thin plastic combined with metal fold tabs. To sneeze in the general direction of said plastic is to introduce the possibility of cracking the puny plastic tab that holds the thing in place. A three dollar tube of Super Glue (tm) has helped out some though I dare not move the case because the pretty blue fan must be set "just so" or it will rattle and knock. I've managed to have it run silent for about a week now. One of the lights in the fan is dead so I only get 3/4s of the blue that I paid for :(

Overall Review: Great design and a cool looking case is flawed by cheap plastic and a fan made of what must be clear basal wood.

Simplified and FAST!

NETGEAR WN2000RPT-100NAS Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender
NETGEAR WN2000RPT-100NAS Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender

Pros: I needed something that would connect three wired connections downstairs to the wireless connection I have upstairs. Basically a bridge. After looking at several products they all seems to be a pain to set up. This was not. (Having to configure a wireless router to act as a bridge). So now I have my TV, Blue Ray, and XBOX wired into this thing and it connects into my wireless DSL router. Speed: I tried a powerline solution first and couldn't even play standard definition movies off the internet from the TV. This however offers VERY little signal degradation. Example - Wired directly into the DSL router with a desktop I get 5.7Mbps and wirelessly connected into this extender I get 5.4Mbps. This allows me to now watch HDX movies on my TV.

Cons: Uhhh sorry I can't find any.

Overall Review: Very easy to set up! Very basic config menu and set up program allowed me to get up and running within 15 minutes and that included walking up and down the stairs ;)

Intel Core i7-920 - Core i7 Bloomfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 1366 130W Processor - BX80601920

Pros: Man this processor screams! I've been using AMD for the past 5 years and now I'm back to Intel. I'm very happy with that switch. I have no idea what I was thinking with AMD processors.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I purchased this along with the ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard and OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory. This replaced an AMD 6000+ on a Gigabyte board with 2GB memory. This setup is easily three times faster.

Awesome!

ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution with NF200 3xPCIe true x16 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great board design, happy with the removal of useless component connectors. Tons of USB and SATA hookups. Not a single problem with this board in a month of use. I like the blinking blue light too.

Cons: Kahn!!! Kaaaaahn!!!
