Very Versatile!

Logitech G Saitek Farm Sim Vehicle Side Panel
Logitech G Saitek Farm Sim Vehicle Side Panel

Pros: -Requires no special software to run (actually has no software, it is a generic joystick with MANY buttons) -buttons are high quality with good solid feel -fast switchable joystick axis, the mode switch on the end of the joystick isnt a shift / modifier button like you would get on a saitek x52. The mode button actually switches between two sets of joystick axis that are all recognized separately.

Cons: -Joystick movement can feel a little cheap for the price, it is plastic on plastic but sometimes it does that little..catch, when moving slowly, gamers know the one I am talking about. I think with usage and a little silicon faucet grease it can be mitigated though. -Table clamp isn't removable, at least not easily, so if you want to use the two holes on the back to screw it to a desk without the clamp assembly, you will have to pull the bottom panels off and leave an exposed section of the controller, (if your desk is like mine and too thick for the clamping mechanism.) >THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY!<

Overall Review: I am using this for thruster and translation control in Elite: Dangerous. Ever since I was a kid and saw the movie Apollo 13 I have wanted to control a spaceship, and now I can do it down to the little joystick on the panel like in the movie!

Most Critical Review

This thing makes hdmi look worse than a VCR tape.

not in stocks Portable HD USB 2.0 Port HDMI 1080P 60fps Mini Monitor Video Capture Card For Computer PC Compatible For Windows XP/8 Sound Card

Pros: Cheap tiny

Cons: This thing gets hot, hot enough I took some spare motherboard heatsinks and strapped to it to keep the chips cool, the heatsinks still get warm. Read the description carefully, the OUTPUT of this thing (what you'll see on your capture software) is 720x480, what it can ACCEPT is 1080p. They apparently put 1080p in the title hoping you'll skim past the true output resolution. Now all of this wouldn't be super terrible if it wasn't for the interlacing that occurs, I tested it with my nintendo switch streaming to twitch. The interlacing was so bad you can barely make out the level of stamina on the green circle indicator.

Overall Review: I can't even reccommend this for archiving movies because VCR uses component / RCA so it wouldn't even be compatible. So do yourself a favor if you intend to stream games, and save up for a proper capture solution.

Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM006 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM006 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: None

Cons: I ordered two of these to replace a raid array. Within 10 minutes of being online they BOTH began throwing read / seek errors to the tune of over 1,000 per second during activity. Write activity cause the drives to disconnect both in my server and an external dock.

Overall Review: I am on a budget at the moment and thought, maybe seagate had gotten their product straight. Now I remember why I only use Hitachi and Western Digital for my mechanical storage solutions.

Very Robust!

Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback Wheel (Xbox Series X|S, One and PC)
Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback Wheel (Xbox Series X|S, One and PC)

Pros: STRONG force feedback, seriously, if you want it to this thing can have the force feedback strength nearing that of a '84 f-150 truck with a 6 inch lift kit and buckshot tires. QUIET feedback, unlike what i hear from the g27 or the driving force gt from my friends over teamspeak, this thing by comparison is whisper quiet. ACCURATE, the main reason I purchased this in the first place over other competitors was for in the same price range the only other option for steering detection use potentiometers. I do love my hall effect sensors. Feels surprisingly good in the hands, nice tactile buttons, accurate pedals (can change them between separate and combined so it makes it more compatible). Built in power supply with decently long cord! Cooling fan for the motor! (You don't hear it running at all, and barely so with your ear pressed against the housing) Pedals connect with RJ11 (phone line) connector so it has a clip that holds it in. (cons below)

Cons: Knocking off one egg here: will not show up as a xbox one controller, you will still have to use x360ce for games that require only a gamepad (looking at you GTAV). Would be nice to have an option in drivers or a hardware switch that allowed it to show up as just a regular xbone gamepad with the pedals as the analog triggers and the wheel as the left stick. Concerned over what the longevity of the clamp bolt will be as the head of it (has a little ball that seats into the clamp arm) is held onto the bolt by a single pin, and the head is plastic. Only time will tell if that little plastic ball will crack or shatter. Pedals connect with rj11 connector that has a OFFSET clip, (like the Lego NXT motors and sensors use) so if you need a longer cord for whatever reason you cant just grab a longer phone line and connector. Shifter uses a DIN connector? Really? You have a custom RJ11 connector on the pedals, why not a standard on the shifter (so it would be keyd) so IT would have the same attachment security. Or better yet a standard RJ11 on the pedals (so we can extend it if we have to run the cable behind a deep desk) and the custom RJ11 connector on the shifter since it will be near the main unit anyway?

Or better yet a standard RJ11 on the pedals (so we can extend it if we have to run the cable behind a deep desk), and the custom RJ11 connector on the shifter since it will be near the main unit anyway? I would reccommend the wheel, if you want the extras like the pro pedals and the shifter you will pay quite a bit more than the logitech counterparts, but I feel the internal construction will end up making this one last longer. Salt to take: The only other wheel I have ever owned was a $30 madcatz nascar wheel.

Much better than expected. (Read: Impressed!)

Zalman K300M Black 104 Normal Keys 20 Function Keys USB Wired Multi-media keyboard
Zalman K300M Black 104 Normal Keys 20 Function Keys USB Wired Multi-media keyboard

Pros: Keys feel great, think a logitech gaming keyboard feel when typing (ive own 3 G19's so it is an easy comparison). Keys are spaced nice for someone with large hands. Not backlit but eh, $15 whatcya want. Plenty of well placed shortcut keys. I know it has only been a month or so since I got it but considering price I think this is a pro: The letters on the keys still have yet to show any sign of wear, and I use this keyboard for programming, playing games, word processing, pretty much everything for around 8-10 hours a day, every day, no exceptions. By comparison, a buddy got a $24 keyboard from another online store that I can't mention because of rules, and the letters wore off within the first week....sooooo yeah.

Cons: I only had one problem with the keyboard out of the box and it was easy to fix. On the assembly line they forgot to put lube on one side of the metal rod connecting each end of the spacebar key. Easy enough to fix, pop it, put a touch of lube, reassemble, squeak gone! (I used a half drop of 90w gear oil cause it was handy, still fine a month later.)

Overall Review: A few features I havent seen in a while, power, sleep, wake buttons, I don't use them but I guess if you had a caged workstation they could be useful. Have I mentioned I really like the feel of the way this keyboard types? I bought this as a temp replacement until i could replace a g19 that went out on me, after using this keyboard for quite some time, I'm not exactly in a rush to go and get another g19, (ok confession) I haven't even priced the g19's since I got this.
