Overall Review: On 8/21/13 I wrote a review that stated my memory was DOA. I returned it for replacement and got the very same problem yesterday as before. I'm pretty sure they checked my memory stick and sent it back to me. Time to eat some crow here..... I have 4 systems running basically the same hardware. I thought I had updated the BIOS on all four. When I checked and found this one not-to-date I updated the BIOS and it booted right up with the 12gb of memory. All BIOS settings are on [Auto] for those who might make this same mistake. There was no tweaking necessary. Disregard the DOA post and buy this at the sale price if you get the opportunity. Again, apologies to Crucial & Newegg for the negative review!

Overall Review: The unit did run long enough for it to be detected but immediately started beeping. Hitachi tech support confirmed it dead. Newegg to the rescue......prepaid shipping label on box and ready for return to be replaced. Just a thought.....my daughter and son-in-law both work at the main UPS hub in Louisville, KY. Given some of the horror stories they tell about the way materials get bounced around on the conveyors it might be better to ship these units in a more cushioned container. Might save some customer inconvenience. I returned a failed Segate drive (6 months old) last month. They wanted it packed in 2" of foam all the way around.

Pros: Like a previous user I had a Moto G 1st generation phone that my old eyes were having trouble seeing. I use this for work in hostile environments and it more than does what I need. Mobile hotspot = BIG plus!! Added a 32gig micro card and it takes all the files I need with me.

Cons: My ONLY complaint is that the bootloader is locked so this unit can not be rooted at this time. Previous versions were said to be rooted but I guess ZTE didn't want us to totally enjoy the experience :-( I'm from the old school of thought that if I buy the phone it is mine to do with as I see fit. And yes, I would wave the warranty if necessary.

Overall Review: I really like the feel of this phone as I have large hands and it is easier to grip. For the money, I don't think you could get more bang for the buck!

Pros: None that I can think of....

Cons: I made the mistake of recommending this unit to a friend for his son to take to college two weeks ago. Not long after it came in he called and asked if I would look at it for him complaining that it was far too slow. After two hours of wasted time I told him to call for a RMA. I am paying the return fees, if any. There is simply no reason under the sun that any computer should be this badly loaded with bloatware. Nor should you spend this kind of money and then have to try and remove it. Never again will I recommend Lenovo and don't even get me started on Win 8.1...what a joke!

Overall Review: If you are tempted by the price make sure and google this model before you buy. It will save you some valuable time.
