Warning: Max CPU cooler height should be 160mm not 170mm5/6/2020 5:03:07 AM

Pros: Amazing case, absolutely love it.

Cons: Max CPU cooler height is specified at 170mm but my 165mm cooler doesn't fit. It's about 5mm to big. I have an EVGA x299 FTW K motherboard with a Cooler Master Masterair MA620M. I measured the cooler and it is right at 165mm. If the cooler was 160mm I'm pretty sure it would fit but would be pressed tight against the glass.

Overall Review: I hope this review helps someone out. EDIT: I was able to get it to fit by laying the case on it's back and then putting the glass side on. It's pressing against the glass and I definitely will take the it off if I need to move the computer for some reason. At least I know I got all the air cooling that will possibly fit in this case :)

Didn't last a year.2/20/2019 8:37:33 AM

Pros: Would be an awesome keyboard if the keys held up.

Cons: Multiple keys either double click or don't click. The keys that are doing this are both frequently used and mainly unused keys. Makes typing passwords a pain if it has one of the bad keys.

The best, period12/29/2011 11:59:59 AM

Pros: Just received my second pair for my daughter. Absolutly the best headset I've ever had the pleasure of using. What I really love about these besides the sound and light weight is the pride the manufacturer has in their product. GO RAZER! We need more companies like this!

Cons: I can't think of a single one.

Overall Review: That Lycosa keyboard is next on my hit list :)

Bad memory controller after 90 days10/10/2008 6:19:11 PM

Pros: Really is a great board even though the memory controller is going bad. For now it's still usable but any memory intensive application will crash. Running the Corsair Dominator TWIN2X4096-8500C5D 4GB kit. Everything was running fine for about a month when I first started getting unexplained crashes every once in a while. Then it started crashing more and more often. Hopefully I can finish this review before the next crash.

Cons: The RMA process at ASUS is slow. After they told me that it would take about 10 days to get the replacement back I ask to buy one and have them credit me back when they recieved my board. Support said it would take 24 to 48 hours to see if it's even in stock so they could send me a replacement first, ouch. I can't go with my computer after all. I said NewEgg has some in stock and I could just get it from them but they wouldn't go for it. Heck NewEgg could have it at my door by the time they tell me if they even have any!

Overall Review: I tried every memory tweek I could find to get the memory to not error in memtest86, but no luck. Crawled all over Corsiar's site and found a lot of useful info but nothing is working. I did find that there was an issue with the memory controller for this board in some revisions. Unhappy8/15/2008 12:15:22 PM

Pros: If you are used to using office 2003 then NONE!

Cons: Just about everything. Does half of what 2003 lets you do at half the speed. Microsoft software is really getting VERY BAD. It is just flat out annoying me more and more. It really upsets me when I think of all the money I wasted on this over hyped piece of MS junk.

Overall Review: If you want half the options and half the speed but twice the headache then this is the software for you. Ribbons are horrible. Forcing you to use Word as the email editor is horrible. Whoever thought this was an upgrade at Microsoft needs to find another job because they don't have a clue. Vista is really bad too but that's another rant (I want to use my computer, not be restricted by it). Bah

Doesn't drop to lowest connected device speed!7/25/2008 9:48:20 AM

Pros: After reading the reviews here I got concerned about the statements that this switch will drop the connection speed to the speed of the lowest connected device. In other words the FALSE reviews said "if I connect a 100 Mbs device then my other 1000 Mbs devices would drop to 100 Mbs". Absoultly NOT true. I ran several tests to make sure and they all passed as expected. Ran with just 2 1000 Mbs devices I got the expected 320 Mbs through put (PCI bus bottleneck). Then I attached a single 100 Mbs device and still had the same result. Transmitted some data through the 100 Mbs port with no change in the results between the 1000 Mbs computers. Add 2 more 100 Mbs device and still no problems between the 1000 Mbs computers. Powered down and tried again and still no problems.

Cons: Bad customer reviews that scare people like me.

Overall Review: On power up this thing checks the quality of your network cables, and found a questionable cable going to my printer. The printer worked but there was an awfull lot of traffic going out to it that I blamed on poorly designed printer software (I'm a software Eng). May have just been using a very poor cable this whole time! Time to order another one off NewEgg :) Another thing I didn't think about is that the longer the network cables are attached to the switch the more power it has to use to transmit the data. Shorter cables = cooler switch. Oh Yea, NewEgg Rocks!

Awesome Board7/24/2008 1:05:06 PM

Pros: Hooked it up and everything ran perfect with my Q9300 45nm quad core and my 4GB corsair dominator. Not one issue. I was even installing my first 64 bit OS (Vista Ultimate) and everything went smooth. I've never had an easier install. My case did make things easy on me though.

Cons: None! The only issue I had was trimming the mounting bracket for my ZALMAN CNPS9700 to fit next to the heat sink (next to where the MB heat sink fan attaches). There is a part on the bracket that sticks out for an AMD proc that is unneeded for an Intel proc. My Dremel made quick work of that!

Awesome case7/24/2008 9:57:33 AM

Pros: Great case, very easy to work with. Tons of room. Comes with wheels which I love, makes sideing it in and out from under my desk a breeze.

Cons: Only 1 LED fan. I switched them around and put the LED fan in the back of the case. Got a Cooler Master LED 2 fan pack coming in today :) The back 2 fans come with molex connectors and no rpm line (LED has a 3 wire connector).

Overall Review: Careful when you lean this thing over to lay it on it's side, with the wheels on this baby it will get away from you. This is my first case with wheels. It caught me off guard when I leaned it over and it SMACKED hard on it's side. Oh yea, NewEgg rocks :)
