Works great in Ubuntu

MSI GeForce 8400 GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card N8400GS-TD256
MSI GeForce 8400 GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card N8400GS-TD256

Pros: Works great in an old IBM Thinkcentre with a P4 3Ghz CPU running Ubuntu 9.04. Ubuntu recognized it immediately and I was able to get it running dual LCD monitors with no problems. I have a 22" Hanns-G LCD on the DVI port and an old ViewSonic 15" LCD on the VGA port.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Thanks nVidia for being such a great Linux supporter!

Good sound

Pros: Sounds great even after ants infested them.

Cons: Ants like them.

Overall Review: Yeah, so my office had a problem with ants. My headphone cable was lying on the ground. Came in one morning and saw some stuff underneath one of the headsets. Shook the headphones and several ants came crawling out of the ear sets and the top cushion. After we got rid of the ants, I still feel like they're up there crawling around in my hair and in my ears. So I don't wear them much anymore but they're too nice to throw away. GAH! I hate bugs!

Awesome!

Hanns-G 22" Active Matrix, TFT LCD WSXGA+ LCD Monitor 5 ms 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI-D Hi-221DPB

Pros: Very good image quality to my untrained eyes. That being said, it was definitely sharper, clearer, and has more accurate colors than a Dell 2001FP I had hooked up to my MacBook Pro. Plus the Dell LCD was hooked up via DVI while I'm now only hooked up via VGA (since no DVI cable was included).

Cons: Puny built-in speakers. My MacBook Pro has better sound coming from it when the lid is closed than this LCD. Seriously, it would have been better if they had included some ear buds instead. No adjustable stand. No included DVI cable.

Overall Review: Great monitor for the price. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because the built-in speakers really tick me off. They are terrible! My cell phone has better speakers.

Works in my MacBookPro

SIIG CE-E01012-S1

Pros: Works great in my new MacBookPro 2.0Ghz. It sits almost flush in the ExpressCard/34 slot and I would have no qualms about leaving it in all the time. Also works in Windows XP Pro using BootCamp but not when using Parallels. Transferred photos from my Canon S2's 2GB SD card fast.

Cons: I'm not sure how fast it is compared to other card readers, but it transfers files quickly enough for me. It also doesn't say that it works with Mac's but my MacBookPro didn't have any problems. While it didn't work in Parallels Windows XP VM, that has more to do with Parallels than this card.

Overall Review: While it doesn't read CF cards (due to size constraints) it does a great job with everything else.
