Great case for budget builds
Pros: -HIGHLY SUGGESTED FOR FULL SSD/NON OPTICAL DRIVE BUILDS - great price point ( got mine for $21.04 shipped) -solid sturdy design -nice muted logo and clean minimal design -top mounted i/o -black finish in and out -3 ssd mounting locations -rolled edges (which you'll be greatful of because you'll be in the nitty gritty managing your cables) -Resale ready -satisfying key clicks on power on and reset buttons -cable management(though minimal and will take some actual management) -included rear 80mm fan (room for an additional 80 on side panel and 120mm in the front) -removable front panel -room for full size gpu -room for most cpu coolers(still check sizing though) -plenty of extra screws -great airflow(with additional fans) -again the price!! You can routinely find this case for $20 shipped if you keep an eye on it.
Cons: -top mounted psu(more of a nitpick.. As I knew this beforehand -non replaceable gpu blanks (again minor nitpick) -blue power indicator led is really bright( very minor) -included pre-installed stand offs are temperamental so don't screw down too hard or you will strip them out. -instructions aren't too clear on the screws for the mobo they are the flatter screws fyi - like people have said the panel connectors are long as hell lol.. It's fine though.. Just. Dang.
Overall Review: Don't let people turn you off this case. While it is 'ckst effective' it definitely doesn't have that cheapo feel. If you are going for a full ssd build with no optical drives or 3.5 hdd's then you'll have more than enough space. Just make sure you think ahead. The reason why I suggest no optical drives or hdds is because you'll need that space to hide wiring.. At least in case I did (non modular). Again plan ahead as you're building it does get snug after components get in place but there is more than enough room to make a clean looking build. Slap 3 noctua fans(2 80's and the 120) in there and you're good to go. Would recommend and buy again. My cons were city minor and I knew beforehand therefore you still get five eggs out of me.
out the box performance
Pros: -plug and play xmp (2700x on a x470 aorus gaming wifi 5)
Cons: -doesnt respond when I say thank you
Overall Review: the ease of just plugging and going off to the races is immeasurable, I'm not too savvy on OCing ram or my system at all (other than the quick and dirty msi afterburner gpu ocs) so the ability to just plug and play and get 'tight timings' and have it boosted was pretty great. I immediately noticed the difference going from a 2133 kit to this kit. This is my first build and I was didn't check my boards QVL and ended up with less performance than I paid for. Next move is hopefully a watercooling loop but this has set me straight. From what I read 3200mhz is the sweet spot for 1st gen Ryzen without diminishing returns. either way...If you can find a sale pull the trigger, if not do yourself the service and get proper ram!
Great, Great, Great..oh and Easy to setup
Pros: -Premium Packaging/Presentation -Huge 'fool proof' Poster board size instructions, which are clearly broke down and detailed -Components clearly labeled and packaged individually -Quick and Easy Setup (tools needed are included)
Cons: -There is a break in period with the chair, might be a little stiff until done so. -The chair is really adjustable, so you have to find your optimal positions -Though it is easy set up, if you are younger are smaller..you might need a second pair of hands for specifics. Though the instructions do say that so no points knocked off.
Overall Review: The whole experience was and is very premium and I'm still enjoying this chair to this day. I would definitely recommend Secret Labs to anyone. To the complaints I have seen about the PU leather, all I use my chair for is sitting. So as long as I don't try to intentionally tear it, and wipe it down every now and then I see myself getting lots of mileage out of my purchase.....
Pros: After being a newegg window shopper for sometime now, I decided to buy a video card from them. One in which wasn't going to cost me much yet delivered the much needed power the i was looking for. I upgraded from and onboard Geforce 6150 se and we all know how those perform. I was leary at first looking at the card and my pc (HP Slimline) dreading the thought that it wouldn't fit. But sure enough the card came with the low profile brackets I needed and the bad boy popped right in and installed with no issues. Was getting about 10fps on all Steam Source engine games and now getting about 60 fps on average(which may be nothing to some but its perfect for me). And don't listen to the people who say this card cannot run Oblivion or Call of Duty 4, it runs both fine, Oblivion its not as crisp as one would like but definitely playable very much so...Can't expect much with a 8400!! All in all great card for the price and it very much so fits in HP Slimline pcs, even runs on my stock 160w psu.
Cons: None whatsoever
Overall Review: Great card if your looking for a much needed boost in things.
