Best HTPC hard drive
Pros: I own two of this drives and both of them are superb for what I am using them. I got one in my desktop as a storage drive and other in my energy efficient HTPC as a main drive that is on 24/7. It is pretty fast considering it is 5400rpm drive. In fact you shouldn't notice any speed difference unless you get used to 10000rpm or SSD drives.
Overall Review: Make sure after you do the format, partition the drive in two or three partitions this way it is going to be easy on windows and overall speed and stability...
Superb cooling design and performance 🔥🎉💥
Pros: Runs cool under heavy load Boost over 2000 out of the box Build like a tank
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I was afraid that this monster of the card will be overheating in my HTPC and raise overall temperature in the PC , but I was wrong and surprised temps stayed under 70c during heavy loads and in 30s during light operation. Due to cooler design and my case layout I was able to put one single 120mm fan in pull configuration right on top of the cards heatsink this way I was exhausting hot air from the card outside of the case. So far I didnt have enough time to fully bench the card but out of the box in 3dmark card average core frequency was right under 2000mhz around 1955mhz or so. Looking forward to try all of the great games that released in the last couple of years. I did try heavily modded Skyrim with over 1500 mods that was a slide show on my previous GTX 1080 and it was smooth as a butter😁🙌
