Unbelievably loud. Didn't know 4 watts could sound so good.

I'm no "golden ear", so I won't extol the sonic virtues that may or may not be present. It sounds good to me, and that's all I expect. My old speakers always gave a loud pop when I turned on the computer, but that's now a problem of the past.

Great clear sound, excellent bass. Sturdy and seemingly well constructed. Look good with my black case and black monitor. LEDs are not invasive. Headphone jack is easily accessible.

I was a little hesitant to go from a 2.1 setup (old logitech speakers & sub) to these T40's. Mainly because of the comments about bass being somewhat weak. Well I'm here to put that to rest. These things thump plenty, if you even play them that loud. For practical purposes, at normal volume levels, these things are great. Crisp, clear and powerful. When I game at night I can't necessarily jack the volume way up and with my old speakers it was hard to hear all the detail. With these T40's I can keep them at a reasonable volume level, hear everything, yet not wake everyone else up. For the times I do blast them for music, they sound fantastic there too. They are a little bigger than I expected (a little over a foot high) but I like it. They also look very sleek and cool, especially with the covers off. I'm very happy with this purchase. Because I'm usually very particular, this is not something I say often.

Really great style. Photos don't do it justice, but these are really nice-looking speakers. They also sound really good, and despite their relatively low power rating, produce nice, realistic base.
