-Excellent sound with headphones or speakers. -Very cheap (got mine on a Newegg Flash deal for less than 20 bucks). -Has input pins for front audio panel. -Software is easy to use, online drivers are kept up-to-date.
Using the 3 slots on sound card, 1 for dual Creative Gigaworks T40 desk speakers, 1 for same set of speakers on a side shelf, and 1 slot for other set of smaller speakers with sub-woofer, selected the 5:1 channel, works great, installed card into a free PCIe x 4 channel slot on the windows pc motherboard (the smallest slot), love the card, 5 eggs
If you want the best sound card on the market then this is the one to buy. Sound blaster been around for a very long time and know what there doing. Easy to install, great software. My headphones have never sounded better! It supports dts for my home theater, which was a must have in a sound card for me. The evga nu or the nu pro does not support dts and is why i never gave it a chance. I upgraded from my old soundblaster z and i am very happy that a did.
- The part near the USB plug is rubber. Makes it easier to grip when plugging in/out. - Slim and lightweight
Amazing Sound, Amazing Software, RGB(It Glows!)
Amazing sounding 7.1 Card, full support for windows 8.1 Considering the card is so cheap It makes a huge upgrade over my onboard sound.
32bit 384khz direct mode. No rgb. No molex. Power by the pci slot.
This sound card worked perfectly on my Windows 10 computer. I am using the fiber Optics feature from my the Asus Sonarn SE 5.1 card to my Sony stereo system. Everything is working great and the sound is excellent. I am very pleased with this sound card.
Fewer cables to disconnect when moving my PC. Can't hear a difference compared to the Sound Blaster Z card I was using. Physical volume knob.
It was super easy to install. Windows 7 install used included CD. Windows 10 install was a simple plug and play. Will buy again when needed!!!
Very high quality easy to install perfect drivers from asus running windows 10 64-bit ,sound very superb on my asus x99 gaming motherboard hook up from digital to a onkyo HTR and 2.1 klipsch
Picked this up as a work around for a busted headphone jack in my laptop, turned out to be way better with far more options than I'd expected. It gave my laptop a more true feeling surround option for headphones. Haven't tried plugging a set of speakers into it just yet.
Sound Blaster does a very good job for the price
Needed a sound card for Windows 2012 srv for Terminal Server purposes. Works perfectly, detected right away.
Much better than my SoundBlaster 24 bit. Games ound great almost too much bass for my taste and music is good also. Games sound much better .
