This thing is truly amazing. Can run models up to 200 billion parameters. (Most of mine are between 70-120b, but my 24b "devstral" model is very useful for simple coding.) For a "personal AI" it's perfect. I use it to assist with sensitive client matters that I do not want to "share" with public AI services. Yes, it is brittle, but it is not hard to perform factory-restore using Nvidia's image - they have clear instructions posted and AI can help you if you need it. Be sure to use Nvidia's tool to create the boot thumb-drive. The unique hardware and driver situation makes this computer incompatible with other distros or OSes.

Works right out of the box - easy to set up with some YouTube tutorial help to get the settings I want. Loving how easy it is to manage, install my docker apps, and configure to what I like. You can keep it as easy or as complicated as you like. I was brand new to the NAS world and am happy with my UGREEN so far.

For a server case that isn't the size of a bar fridge, fit the physical space requirements I needed. Excellent airflow and having side fans specifically for video cards is a plus (even though I'm not using it for crypto mining).

Operated exactly as advertised. This review unit arrived with excellent timing. The day after I installed it the power here went out for over an hour with several outages the following week! Not only did the BU 600 keep my cable modem, gigabit switch and a high end router running without missing a beat, I was even able to keep my phone charging. Estimated run time with the new battery and minimalist load was 3 hours+. Of course age reduces the battery capacity, but if you use this product in your server room, it will keep your web connections and routers running like nothing happened for at least 60+ minutes Management software is a free download. The unit was detected on my win7/64 laptop USB and windows drivers installed, and then I installed the APC software. No eyebrow raisers there. Wall mounting holes a nice touch. USB charge port @ 1.5amps shows engineers are listening to customers. I'm seeing this all over the business lately. I just bought a nice desk lamp that has a USB charge port on it.

Spent over 3x for a 10 bay hot swap case that had terrible airflow. Same drives in this new case and the HD temps are down on average 7-10deg.

Pure Sine Wave power supply doesn't put unnecessary stress on modern power supplies. This product also takes up a minimal amount of space and shows up as a battery backup in OS X without any software or drivers. I didn't know what to expect as this is my first purchase of such a device, but it was shockingly heavy for its size. The batteries inside came pre-charged to some extent, as it turned on when I pressed the button on accident while maneuvering it after I plugged them in. Looks to be in great condition, instructions were simple enough, the device functions seemingly as intended.
