Pros: I brew a TON of coffee and generally blow through a drip maker in less than a year. Have tried everything from cheap Mr. Coffee's up to several hundred dollar Bunn's. For the price, this has been the most durable and easy to use drip pot. It brews fast, has a very good 4 cup feature for those that like strong single cups, and is easy to clean and maintain.

Cons: While the carafe may hold 12 cups, the basket cannot hold enough grounds for a decent 12 cupper. It will overflow leaving you with grounds in the carafe, water reservoir, and water filter on the other side. Not good. If you treat this like a 10 Cup pot, it will give you no problems. As with most drip pots, wish the strike water was a few degrees warmer. In that regard, this is still better than the vast majority out there.

Overall Review: Best coffee pot in the $80-$130 range.

Pros: This is our second DCC-1200, It is probably the best you are going to get at this price point. Makes good coffee which is the whole point, easy to clean. Easy to program.

Cons: Only lasts about three years with daily use. The carbon water filter is a joke no-one has replacement parts. Replacement carafes are a pain to find that fit properly.

Overall Review: Just goes to show you what happens when we make these things to last only three years. It is typical of everything now a days. This is overall a great coffee maker that looks real good on the counter it does not stain easily, except for the water reservoir that is impossible to get the minerals from discoloring. It should have a battery backup for storing the time and program.

Pros: Besides the fact it brews as good a cup of drip coffee you can get the carafe NEVER drips. I've owned dozens of makers over the decades and all of them dripped on everything but the cup I was trying to pour into. Maybe that's why I've seen this on TV shows and movies (see other) so the cast doesn't get drenched. This is a good, sturdy coffee maker that looks good and functions as it's supposed to. I can't think of much of anything else these days that does.

Cons: Not the biggest fan of the way the carafe fits into the maker but it's a small issue.

Overall Review: I've seen this on "House" (they upgraded this season but if you look at the last couple of seasons they pour from it sometimes when they are in the consulting part of House's office. I've also seen it in both seasons of "Awake" too plus two movies whose names escape me. Probably a lot more but I don't watch much TV. Looks good, tastes better.

Pros: The permanent filter is easy to clean and doesn't clog or overflow, even when making a full pot with 12 scoops of very fine grind coffee. The carafe doesn't drip while pouring like almost every other coffee pot I've owned.

Cons: The moisture that collects on the inside of the lid, drips down the back of the coffee maker when you open it up. It's worse if you have recently brewed a pot and then make a second pot. The beeper that tells you when the coffee is done is annoying and not needed. The sound of a coffee pot purging the last bit of water from the tank is the universal signal that your coffee is done.

Overall Review: All in all, it's one of the better pots that I've owned. Newegg is good on prices but unfortunately for them, Costco is about half the price on this one.

Pros: - Great coffee on every brew (main priority for me) - "1 to 4 cup" option for small brews - Heat options for how hot to keep the coffee - Nice design, visually appealing, metal finish, metal on/off switch

Cons: - SHORT CORD! I hate when manufactures do this, please spend an extra 5 cents and make the cord a few inches longer?! Its about 2 feet long, depending on your layout that can be a problem. - I'd like it if the lid on the carafe was a bit more snug/tight, it doesn't feel like it fully snaps into place. - Every so often I am "missing" a cup of coffee after the brew. Like I'll make 10 cups and it brews 9 cups in the end. It happens maybe once every 2 weeks, not a deal breaker though. - While filling it with water its easy to spill some over the side - Clock is so tiny and hard to read, I didn't bother to set it

Overall Review: I bought this coffee maker after visiting a friend who always served great coffee. I paid $99 for this, I don't think its worth $140 though (its usual price). It goes on sale here once and a while, sometimes as low as $69 which is a great deal for this coffee maker!

Pros: This machine was recommended by a former coworker who loved it so, with a great online sale here at Newegg... I went for it. I have not been disappointed. - includes fine mesh gold tone metal screen filter basket - total bonus! - 3 warming plate temp settings is nice - adjustable shut off times are great - audible brew complete alarm - pause and serve works ok, but can also be a pain if you don't actually set the carafe under completely it can cause the basket to overflow since the pause can stay closed and then you have coffee and grinds all over inside and outside the machine. Ask me how I know.

Cons: - as others have noted, can be a little awkward to fill with water since the fill reservoir is completely at the back of the unit and you have to be able to lift the ENTIRE lid to access it. (My old machine allowed you to fill from the front and had a swing out basket that made it possible to prepare coffee without having to pull the machine ALL the way out from under the overhead cabinets.) - charcoal filters are expensive!

Overall Review: This machine is attractively designed even though it has somewhat of a combo of the modern with simulated stainless steel sides, LED lights and a digital clock, but manual knobs and analog switches for ease of use.

Pros: It makes a good pot of coffee relatively quickly. I like the programmability. It's fairly intuitive and easy to program. I like the feature of telling when it needs to be descaled. We have hard water, and that's a useful bonus that I haven't seen on any other coffeemakers.

Cons: The warmer plate has stopped working after about 18 months. Now the coffee is lukewarm within a half an hour or so after brewing. It's still under warranty, but I'll have the expense and hassle of sending it to Cuisinart for repair.

Overall Review: This is my second second Cuisinart coffee maker. The first one was a similar model, but older. It lasted about 4 years before it stopped working. I may consider the insulated pot verson the next time.

Pros: works great, i like the auto turn off and the ability to set the warmer plate.

Cons: charcoal filter seems silly. not sure it did much ( i did buy about 8 of them before i stopped). as of this week it turns itself off after it starts to brew. you don't notice till you comeback for your eye opener and it hadn't finished. bummer. i bought it here 3 years and a few weeks ago. three year warranty oh well.....

Overall Review: I wish ii had put the extended warranty on it.
