Cuisinart CPB-100WS Stainless Steel Compact Portable Blender

Pros: Works great for smoothies. Compact and easy to clean. Have had it for over a year making smoothies for my daughters breakfast every day before school.

Cons: Could use a bit more power but then it would likely be larger and cost more so not really a con. Has more power than other compact blenders.

Overall Review: Works great but don't overload it. It is not a 5HP blender so don't expect it to be able to handle fully pack with frozen fruit without some liquid. Start out with a banana and a small amount of juice then add the frozen stuff a bit at a time.

Pros: In a house with several blenders and food processors this is my favorite. It's small enough to fit under cabinets and takes very little counter space. The blades are sharp - enough to thoroughly break down veggies and fruit in a smoothie. Powerful but simple to operate this is a breeze to operate and clean. Pretty much a perfect blender.

Cons: the container is plastic rather than glass but so far durable and scratch free

Overall Review: If this is on sale, buy it.

Pros: - Cheap - Good looking

Cons: - Used it about 5 times over 3 years. Always putted it in its box when it was not used. After a year, tried to use it again and nothing.

Pros: works OK

Cons: Every time used, there is a strong smell -- I assume from the motor. It is an electric burning smell. My kids refuse to use it, I'm afraid it will heat up and catch fire.

Pros: Easy to clean, very powerful and makes enough for two good sized smoothies. My wife and I freeze fruit and make smoothies with this blender every morning.

Cons: Just a little noisy but it is a blender!
