Beware of the size 7/9/2020 4:12:19 AM

Pros: - full modular

Cons: -The size of this PSU is really small, i saw micro ATX in the name and thought it could fit my rig ... well in a way yes, i cans slide it directly in the PSU slot without removing anything but can't mount it since there is no adaptater sold with it.
-The cable size is INSANELY short = 300mm, i mean that's something that's an important information and it should be specified in the product spec, the only plug i can reach with it is the GPU one and my tower is just mid-size (440 w X 216h).

Overall Review: Can't recommend it, it might work very well and be super efficient but everything about a product should be displayed in the product spec. Customers shouldn't have to read all the reviews to have those informations.

Manufacturer Response:
Hello Eric,

Was the issue just that you didn't have a bracket to make this function on a bigger case or that cables were just too short? If there's something we got wrong, feel free to let us know and we'll do our best to help: support.corsair.com

Faulty Product 10/24/2019 1:55:41 PM

Pros: -small form factor gave me some extra airflow around my GPU
-quiet

Cons: -did not include ATX to SFX adapter
-required aftermarket extensions to reach motherboard connections (and my case is small mini-itx)
-CONSISTENTLY shut off under load...until it wouldn't turn on at all

Overall Review: I have had TWO of these fail in the last 12 months. They worked fine for a bit, then started powering off under load. Wouldn't turn back on for a couple minutes. Finally they stopped turning back on at all. Going with a different brand next time.

Only reason i didn't give 1 star is because they weren't DOA.

Gold PSU with platinum/Titanium Efficiency 9/4/2019 8:31:49 AM

Pros: i am using this PSU in an ITX build in a Thermaltake V1 Case. I7-8700K CPU; 32GB Vengeance LPX 3000 RAM; 2 4TB HDD with a Gigabyte ITX 1080 GPU. Performance is outstanding for a Gold PSU

Cons: None

Overall Review: I would highly recommend any of the Corsair SF PSUs for the quality of the components and the stability and performance of the product. I'm waiting for the next Intel refresh to upgrade my CPU and motherboard for a mATX setup and plan on using the SF750 Titanium for that. I would love to see corsair come out with an 850 watt Titanium PSU in the SF series so I could potentially build a threadripper system with this line of PSUs.

Good per supply 7/12/2019 8:20:15 PM

Pros: Used it in my media computer build, fits prefect in the case. Rarely the fan runs, but when it does it's very quiet. Works well with my mini itx board

Cons: The wire set is very stiff, I'd prefer the wrapped style wire sets they are easier to position.

Corsair SF450 SFX Power Supply 3/5/2019 3:08:09 PM

Pros: Small and compact power supply, that frees up space inside the computer case. Being fully modular makes the initial installation cleaner/simpler and eliminates the need to have unused cables stored in the computer case. The cooling fan only spins when required so unless under high load no fan noise from the power supply (typical operation). The 450 watt output is more that adequate for my builds.

Recently purchased a third one. Two are installed in small mid tower ATX tower cases (Antec 3840 and a Fractal Design Nano S), and one in a Fractal Design Node 304 mini-ITX bread box. The 24 pin main power cable was just barely long enough to reach the ITX motherboard in the Node 304 case.

Cons: SFX to ATX adapter not included. If you need one, this will add an additional 6$-10$ to the overall cost,
The main 24 pin power cable is to short (many others have complained about this). Unless the computer case is very small an extender cable will be required which will add an additional 6$-10$) to the overall price.

Overall Review: Would recommend.

Great for Mini-ITX Builds 2/24/2019 8:26:11 PM

Pros: -Works great in the Mini-ITX build where mine lives now
-Has enough power cables to feed all the devices I need
-Cable length was fairly good for the Mini-ITX build I used this in

Cons: -It went on sale for $10 cheaper after I bought it
-Mail-in rebates take forever

Overall Review: I used this with an SFX adapter to free up space in a Silverstone SG13 case. So far so good, and I've had mostly positive experiences with Corsair PSUs in the past.
