Pros: Another high quality corsair product. Everything about this flash drive feels tough and durable. Came with a lanyard and a USB extension cable.

Overall Review: My brother bought the newest revision of this drive recently. Apparently corsair has decided to fall back on the extras, as his only came with the flash drive itself. I've also been using this drive without the cap for nearly the entire time I've owned it due to the incompetence of my friends. The connection is a bit dirty, and linty from traveling in my pocket so often, but it continues to work.

Pros: Picked this up using the mail-in rebate so the price is great! The voyager series from Corsair has been a quality line from them. This 16gb drive is no exception. Typical usb2 speeds from it.

Cons: none

Pros: Fast read and write times. Reliable, no errors or file corruption. Physically durable thanks to rubber coating.

Cons: Rubber coating is a little too thick and can block adjacent USB ports.

Overall Review: I'd like to see the rubber scaled back a little, to where it doesn't block other ports. That can be downright inconvenient; but the drive itself is absolutely top quality.

Pros: High speed; EVEN WITH error-checking it's more than fast enough for Vista Boost feature. LOTS of storage room for all my IT utilities and media files. Protective coating is very substantial. Nice neck strap included. Worked as-is driverless on my PC and Mac. 10 YEAR WARRANTY from Corsair helped justify the expense Looking forward to loading a special ADMIN XP load on here for use on any PC or server I go to.

Cons: Only negative so far to my mind is that the looped piece of rubber used to attach the drive to the neck strap should be reinforced, IMHO. This is minor, but noteworthy since 2 years into my 10 year warranty I dont want it breaking and making me lose the unit. And, of course, price could've been a little lower.

Overall Review: Should come with a little ArmorAll cloth to keep it shiny! Seriously... I was debating whether to wait and get this 16GB unit or get the 8GB unit, and I have to say I'm glad I waited and spent the extra money. I'll be using this for YEARS without needing to upgrade. I wish the included neck strap was black instead of bright blue; I wound up using the neck strap from my work ID badge but I would have rather used the nice wide neck strap that came with this drive. Again... I know this is minor. Packaging needs to be rethought into something more eco-friendly... and easier to open, for goodness sake!

Pros: I don't write reviews cause I really don't care. But after reading what others put down when I bought it, I felt almost obligated. See "Other Thoughts". Here's the deal, this USB flash drive works well. 8GB for $65 or less depending when you bought it is a great deal. It's FAST for medium size files.

Cons: Copying over 4GB of video clips took 8-9 minutes in real world. Yeah, I wish it could go faster but I also wish people with power never become corrupt. Anyway, it gobbles mp3's, ect. but for video it slows down a bit.

Overall Review: Unless you are a spy that will be killed if he can't transfer the data fast enough, this USB drive works awesome. I researched for hours, this is it. Whoever complains about anything else besides it's speed with large files is just ignorant. The cap fits snug, don't worry about it. Pocket lint comes off, don't fret about it. It's in complete rubber casing, it's flexible but the USB adapter will stand the test & not dismantle. This USB key was not made for you to attach it to a key chain with all your keys (Why do people annoy me.) Unless you want to spend twice as much for the red one "GT"(if you are a spy), this one gets the job done & in good time compared to other brands. Look at the benchmark tests. So, forget about it (all those rediculous reviews) & buy it. Period.

Pros: My husband doesn't use anything else and he is the owner of a computer repair business. he carries 2 in his pocket at all time filled up with all kinds of data. The best thing about them. I washed one the other day in the washer and it still works fine. Thank goodness for the big protective covering, it really works!

Pros: Corsair has always been a key brand to internal memory I've purchased so I figured I'd go with a piece of external solid state of theirs and am happy with it's performance. Not too much to say that the stats alone don't, an 8GB USB 2.0 memory stick from Corsair at a great price.

Cons: The only fault I found was in it's design. The memory stick has a large rubber protective sheath that houses it and it's purpose is obvious, for protection. I find that this outer covering makes the stick too bulky to use beside another USB device, there is simply no room. The sheath also has a rubber loop on the back end that is supposed to be for hooking on your key chain but with no metal ring in the loop for support, I can see it not holding up to lasting very long on a key chain so it's kind of a pointless design.

Overall Review: I didn't buy the memory stick to put on a key chain and have always been satisfied with Corsair as a whole for all PCs I have built. I trust this stick will be in service for a long time based on my past experiences with the brand.

Pros: Its read speeds never dip below 20 MB/s, and it allowed me to use a portable OS with ease since this thing reads much faster than pretty much any CD drive. The high read speeds combined with the highest storage capacity available (with performance considerations anyway), extremely durable casing, lanyard, USB extension cord, and a 10-year warranty to top it all off make it an extremely cost-effective deal for only xx$ at the time of this writing.

Cons: Write speed is nothing amazing. It's typically 5-15 MB/s, and usually on the slower side of that.The price also dropped another xx$ not long after I bought it :P I don't have enough space to put this in "Other thoughts", but I want to give some technical advice on an issue that was counterintuitive and hard for me to solve. If you want to format this to put an OS or other similarly static directory on one partition and data storage on another, make the first primary partition your data storage partition. Windows will not recognize/let you browse any flash drive partition beyond the first. Put the 'boot' partition with the OS of your choice on the second partition.

Overall Review: The cap is small and might be easy to lose, though I haven't lost it yet. You can get Corsair to ship you new caps for free with no questions asked. I've been using it fairly frequently and it hasn't had any problems or died yet like some claim. I would recommend double-clicking the "Safely Remove" icon in Windows before removing it; that may be the source of the problem. The low write speeds I experienced may be because I formatted it as FAT32 rather than NTFS because I need to be able to safely write to it in Linux. Also, the product listing here has this product listed as a 1 year warranty, but according to Corsair, it is definitely a 10-year warranty. I did considerable research in choosing a flash drive, and it seems the only one that can really surpass this one is the Voyager GT edition due to its much higher write speeds. Unfortunately, it can cost twice as much, and cost was a factor for me. This model has exceeded virtually all my expectations and I can't recommend it enough.
