Needs to be Recalled 8/7/2020 7:05:35 AM

Pros: -Amazingly comfortable
-perfect mouse when working

Cons: -Left click has a double clicking issue after a few months of very minor use
-lots of people seem to be having hardware malfunctions

Overall Review: I would not recommend this mouse in the state its in, I read more reviews after purchasing and regret the fact I did not earlier. Sure enough, I end up having a double left click that affects all aspects of my PC use. A recall needs to be issued because at this point this mouse is a paperweight, very disappointed with Corsair.

Left Click started to malfunction after 2 weeks 8/2/2020 1:35:44 AM

Pros: RGB LED
stable in hand with optional adjustable weight disks
nice finishing surfaces.
long braded cable

Cons: As the title says, Left Click started to malfunction after 2 weeks of use. I don't know if its dirt and smudge or a mechanical issue. Its just super frustrating and breaks your whole computing/gaming/browsing experience.

Overall Review: The click does not register each time and sometimes it registers a double click.
My frustration mounts when I remember that I replaced an old well-functioning corsair M65 , that I gave away to my kid, with this one.
Words of wisdom: if its not broken don't fix/replace it.

Good... for a very short-lived temporary mouse. 7/1/2020 2:52:38 PM

Pros: - Software is decent, although somewhat tricky to navigate to store settings to mouse.
- Good feel, weight, and form factor.
- RGB lighting is well done.

Cons: - Longevity, the left mouse button seems to be on borrowed time and begins to fail after a few months. The manufacturer claim of 'Omron switches rated for more than 50 million clicks' is highly suspect given my experience and the experience of so many others. The product appears to be fundamentally defective. Short term reviews rate it positively per initial experience (good first impression), but those that try to use the mouse for more than a few months will likely run into the button failure issue. Replacing the product with the same unit from the manufacturer will only solve the problem temporarily (as others have reported), it needs to be entirely recalled and redesigned to provide proper (long term) functional buttons.

Overall Review: I would not recommend this product. I will avoid purchasing from this company again until and unless this product is properly recalled and replaced with a viable unit that lasts at least as long as other products in the same class and at around the same price point. A one to six month lifespan is far too short for any 'gaming' mouse and indicates an inferior/defective component.

The defective mouse now sits on the floor collecting dust.

Pros: good name company

Cons: junk mouse (wouldnt take pee oh ess)

Overall Review: bought 2 mice a few years ago. one day 1 wouldn't work, no problem, threw it away and used the 2nd one, which took a massive dump a few months later. i called corsair and they walked me through the process of trying to fix the "click, double. triple. no click on my mouse. they replaced it with a new one including new firmware....gee this one lasted 5 months, im out, the keyboard will and continues to work as expected, so long corsair, im gonna stick with your memory, headphones and keyboard. no remarks on higher end mice from corsair, but it thought i was buying a good one at the time, sorry for rant

left click Stopped working after 2 months 6/9/2020 4:40:27 PM

Pros: great tunability
amazing feel
story body
Cool lighting

Cons: didn't last too long
my cleft click needs like 5 pounds of pressure to activate, this is really stressful in FPS games

Overall Review: pretty decent if you get a good one out of the batch

Left Click Problems After 6 Months 6/8/2020 9:09:05 PM

Pros: The M65 has been a staple both at home and at work for the past 7 years. I love the way it feels, and the button placement is perfect. The RGB LEDs on this newest flavor look fantastic, and I really like how you can color code your sensitivity settings so you know what your DPI is just by the color of the indicator.

Cons: I started experiencing left-click issues within 6 months of purchasing. Just as many others have described. After the sensor starts to fail, you'll be able to hear and feel the click, however it won't register unless additional force is applied.

While my M65 is still under warranty, the RMA process requires that you pay for shipping to Corsair and about two weeks of being out of commission. Alternatively you could pay for a replacement up front with their expedited RMA, however you won't be reimbursed until they receive the defective product and verify that it is, in fact, defective.

Overall Review: I really wanted to love this mouse; I've been a Corsair fanboy for ages, and my original M65 that I use at work still functions perfectly. Nearly all of the other components in my build are made by Corsair; they make fantastic hardware. However, I'm really disappointed that the newest flavor of the M65 has this defect. But even more so, that Corsair has not corrected it despite the ubiquitous feedback online from other users who are having the same issue. Corsair should at least cover return shipping on RMAs with this issue since it clearly isn't a one-off situation. I ended up switching to a Razer DeathAdder v2 hesitantly, and I honestly prefer it.

Corsair - fix the left click problems and you'll have a winner.

Do Not Buy: Flawed Construction 5/13/2020 3:21:06 PM

Pros: nothing can make it have any Pros because it is built flawed. Compared to my old Corsair mouse, which is the reason I sought a newer Corsair mouse, this mouse is junk. Corsair is now on my Buyer Beware List of manufacturers after being satisfied with their products prior to this one.

Cons: Wheel will not function properly, as is already documented here in the reviews on the mouse and on the web if one wishes to search outside of this site

Overall Review: Cannot recommend, can only warn not to buy. If you buy it be sure to immediately install and use as much as possible--before you can return it for a refund. I waited to start to use it.
