Pros: Put this in a build and hooked it up and no problems plenty of connectors for growth seems to be a well built unit not cheap metals used like some others that you squeeze it and it leaves dent in case this much more betterer than that. Tested unit and all voltages within acceptable limits so not worried about it at all it seems a great PSU now hopefully it lasts for at least the next 5 years since that how long a computer good for

Pros: Good promotional price, fairly quiet, 5 eggs for the value aspect (bronze + price reduction + rebate) - You really can't go wrong with a 30ish dollar single 12v rail Cooler Master.

Overall Review: I do a fair amount of 'word-of-mouth' computer repair and power supplies are the one item I keep a few stocked due to their universality and, often, easy fix for a dead computer. The 450-500W PSU is the one I typically keep around and usually stick with Cooler Master. Getting the bronze, single rail version for about the same price was a bonus.

Pros: When the PSU worked, It ran my mid-high end machine just fine with no issues what so ever. See Con's...........

Cons: So after about a month of use, the PSU unit started to make a weird electrical/grinding noise. At first I didn't think much of it because PSU's usually do make a "sound" while running BUT the sound continued even when the PC was powered down. The only way to eliminate the noise was to unplug the power cable. So i ended up contract Cooler master and setup an Advance RMA. Since than, everything has worked out perfectly and could not ask for better customer service

Overall Review: for other thoughts, I feel like to i definitely need to mention CoolerMaster's customer service. I have been building PC's for 10 years now and have dealt with many companies when it comes to RMA process. Cooler Master was by far the BEST customer service people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I can't say enough on how professional and efficient they are. You can honestly tell their concern and they realize the frustration of receiving a DOA part. I spoke with both Gina and *Melvin or Marvin from CM and they were both very very VERY helpful! Pros: Findable (like right here) for under a benjamin. Quiet, large fan. Black, subtle, heavy, nice. Neat-o blue GX logo on one side, which would look good if you still had a case with a side window, and haven't outgrown that idea yet. Otherwise, sleep tight knowing your PSU has a cool logo on it inside your windowless case, like the winner you are. Generous power connectors/lengths, and nice, slidy sleeves. Internal guttery made by SevenTeam, and contains no pelican fat. Provides good, clean, dependable power (thus far). Rated 80 Plus Bronze, but CoolerMaster seems too lazy to update the packaging to crow about it (my box just says 80). No lights, jagged edges, buzzes, rattles, flowers, kittens, or strange smells*.

Cons: *Okay, it did feature a strange smell the first time I powered it on. Briefly. Also, if you buy this PSU and then want to complain about there being "too many wires", or the wires not being modular, you know they make power supplies like that for you types. This isn't one of those.

Overall Review: Bought this on short notice when my beloved 6-year old SilverStone 600 Watt finally gave up the ghost. Cooler Master Silio case, so, it slipped right in. Installed in just a few minutes if you don't count the next 6 hours I spent compulsively zip tying wires. You know, that feeling when you flip the switch after this type of surgery and wait for either smoke and/or your OS to show itself? Yeah, that. Lights, fans, HDDs, everyone awake and humming. But.... that pung in the air... Thought something was wired wrong, bad, or about to burst into smoke. Went with my gut. Gave it a few minutes. Probably just that new whatever-is-inside-a-power-supply-getting broken in smell, I thought. Less than five Earth minutes later, smell is gone. 5 hours of heavy lifting via Call of Duty proves nothing detrimental. PC is like new. Power supply makes you aim better in games, and your teeth ARE looking whiter! Try it yourself. everything went better than expected.jpg

Pros: Purchased this unit in lieu of the Antec Green series of PSU's, main reason being the short cabling that came with those. This PSU was bought with the purpose of powering a FreeNAS box 24/7. While it's too soon to speak to the reliability of the unit I can say that all has been well so far. I liked the BRONZE certification it came with (again, NAS box on 24/7 I wanted as little heat as possible). Fan is very quiet but keeps the unit cool. The (paint) finish on the PSU itself is surprisingly well done. Cables are long enough to reach around my recycled Antec 300 and in my current 4 HDD RAID-Z setup I'm currently left with an extra SATA power cable (no CD drive). Obviously I don't use the PCIe cable but looking at the amperage and wattage I'm guesstimating this PSU could handle a mid-low range setup, possibly up to a Phenom II X4 and 6850 combo. That's just a guess though.

Cons: I'm thinking they could have changed a few of the molex power connectors into SATA power connectors but that's being really nit-picky and NAS isn't the intended market for this PSU. More like mid-low end gaming. Obviously I can't take an egg off for buying outside of it's intended purpose.

Overall Review: Too early to tell if this unit will last for a long time. My NAS machine has been running for close to 2 weeks straight without turning off or having any power hiccups. Athlon II X2 8GB GSkill RAM (4) 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 (RAID-Z) CM GX 450W PSU Antec 300

Pros: Nice power supply and seems to have the power to run an i7 960 clocked at 3.0ghz and a GTX 560TI. Over all it seems to have plenty of power and it's running fine. It's very nice looking too.

Cons: If you run this upside down in a newer case where the fan sucks the air from the bottom it gets amazingly loud. If you run the older style where it gets its air from the case you will be just fine.

Overall Review: None.

Pros: 1) High efficiency rating, 2) Quiet, 3) Good voltage regulation, 4) Measured Power Factor = 0.98 (Killawatt) -replaced PS was 0.65!, 5) Very low standby power usage, 6) 12v CPU cable long enough for mid-case w bottom PS, 7) A good price for part of your computer system that always gets replaced more often than desired.

Cons: Long-term performance unknown. Over the years (I won't tell you how many) I've accumulated a huge pile of smoked PS units that all committed unprovoked Seppuku. Some very expensive ones among them. We'll see how this one does...

Overall Review: This unit has soldered-in cable origins (not modular) which is a plus for me. I don't want to pay the heinous extra expense while at the same time introducing extra electrical contacts points into the power system chain.

Pros: -worked right off the bat -single rail -80 plus -cable length -free shipping (at the time i got it)

Cons: not really a con but i always have a hard time plugging the 4+4-Pin ATX/EPS in the board and with this psu's stiff cables it got even harder but then again its only from my personal experience other than that everything else is a breeze

Overall Review: -this psu powers my overclocked msi gtx460 twin frozr II 768mb -shouldve bought 2 of these when they were $70
