Pros: - Nice screen quality and colors. - Powerful for programming, music production, 3D modelling and game development. - The integrated gpu is not too bad. If you intend to use it for small games, it is very decent. But won't handle graphic intensive games super well. - The keys from the keyboard lights up (very nice feature to have when being in a place with not many lights).
Cons: - Sometimes the fans gets a little too loud whenever there's a decent workload going. - Battery life a little short, but still decent. - Not sure if this comes from MSI itself, but it came pre-installed with Norton Security 60 days subscription. Had to uninstall it.
Overall Review: I'm writing a review because I know for a fact that a lot of people won't buy a product with no review. So here we go. I'm a software developer and as a hobby I do music production, video editing, 3D modelling, game developing, and more. I already have a very powerful machine at home, but I needed a good laptop at a good price for when I go out and I need to work OR if I want to write some music and other things. I've only had it for a few hours from the time I'm writing this review, but it is a powerful beast for the amount of money I paid. For the installation, when you open up the laptop for the first time, it goes through the Windows 11 installation process. The windows 11 key is already registered, so you won't need to set it up. Despite it being brand new, there was some pre-installed software such as Norton Security and MSI Software. I uninstalled Norton Security because it is subscription based and it's bloatware. Once on the desktop, make sure you update Windows 11 manually by going to the update panel, because there were many updates behind, so some of the features were just crashing constantly. Once the updates completed, everything was working fine and was very fluid. I had to do some researches to remove Xbox App and MSI Software from the taskbar -- They were reappearing in the taskbar everytime I powered up the laptop. Here's how I removed them from the taskbar: https://www.technipages.com/fix-unpinned-apps-keep-reappearing-on-windows-10#:~:text=Edit%20the%20Taskbar,restart%20your%20computer. I'm very happy with the product.
