Pros: - 400 nit backlit IPS display - backlit keyboard - amazing processor at this price - nice aluminum chassis - excellent cooling solution - 2 SODIMM slots for RAM upgrades
Cons: - battery is on the small side - the bottom is very thin aluminum
Overall Review: This laptop is an excellent, well-rounded rig for productivity and desktop use. The battery is only 39 Whr but with the proper tuning can still last a decent amount of time. It comes with 8 GB of RAM but has two SODIMM slots which means the RAM can be replaced with any two SODIMM RAM cards of your choice (A huge bonus that its not soldered in). The i7-1197G7 processor in this laptop is awesome and it runs cool thanks to the stellar cooling solution. Ive been using this laptop for a few days now after installing Arch Linux and have had no issues so far.
