Pros: First impressions are pretty good. It’s not as heavy duty feeling as ASTRO A40s but it is also a bit lighter which is great. I could easily get a full day in of work and then gaming without feeling like my neck, head, and ears all hurt. I added the included pop filter to the mic and others have said to me “I’ve never heard you more clear ever.” This is fantastic and I did literally no configuration of the headset. I plugged it in and hopped in appear.in, Discord, Ventrilo, Teamspeak, and Mumble. I did have to tweak Mumble and Teamspeak a bit but the others were off and running sounding excellent. It really stinks when friends all say they can’t hear you right and you spend 20 minutes trying to fix it. Not here. Mic wise people can’t/don’t hear any background noise. They hear only me and not my typing or ambient noise. I can’t stress how great this mic quality is with the pop filter. It’s superb.

Cons: The cable is a decent length but not quite long enough or my setup without using a USB Extender. Comparing this to my ASTRO A40 headset which audio is top notch. This headset for audio playback is lacking a bit in quality for music, though sounds okay for doing VOIP/Discord/Teamspeak chatting. Explosions in games could use some more umph for my taste. You can use the EQ to adjust that quickly but I haven’t found a profile that has made them sound great. The earpieces fold flat so they’re easier to store or set down.

Overall Review: The mute is handy having on the headset to tap so I don’t accidentally hit it, and the volume right next to it. Though not being able to physically see if I’m muted or not is sometimes a bummer if I forget. For a gaming headset I love these. They’ve taken over my pricier ASTRO 40s and for a better price. I really am astounded how good this mic sounds for this price point. USB Headsets don’t allow me to have speakers and headset live all at once so I can simply take off my headset and turn on speakers or vice versa. Instead it builds another sound card which in previous iterations of Windows has frankly stunk. I’d generally have to change default sound, and if I’m mid game leave the game change it then reopen. Using the most up to date version of Windows 10 hasn’t had this issue yet. I can quickly swap to this and it makes gaming much nicer when I want to swap audio sources to speakers. It’s not as simple as doing it on with the onboard sound card with 3.5mm headset and speakers but it works. All in all WELL worth the value here.

Pros: * The feel of these is beyond the premium quality I had expected. * The cover over the ears is not a cheap plastic feel that will get sweaty and feel disgusting when you have them on for a long period of time. * The GUI interface on the PC is simple and easy to use. * I have ran a test on these when I first got them to see how the 7.1 really sounds in a headset, you can hear the sound move around as if you had a full home theater set. Amazing technology in a small, relatively lightweight headset. * The Corsair Logo lights up and it is a nice added touch. Looks great in low light. * As I expected there was nothing that was left out on these - the Microphone mutes when you slide the MIc Boom up -- I have had some where it does not--- But this one does =) * The headset holds a charge that will last you long enough to play a nights worth of gaming. * The material of this headset is nice as the fingerprints are not easily seen and it always looks clean. * If you are a big time gamer, I would highly suggest this is to be put on the top of your list to consider when buying a new headset ---- This should be the highest quality of standards you should expect and backed by a great company so you know they will last. * Enough of the positives --- you need to grab one and see for yourself. PC gaming just was taken to a new level with this Gaming headset with Dolby 7.1.

Overall Review: I know these are for Gaming and geared towards a PC, but if you use them on the PS4 this will be set to one sound only. Pros: These are super comfortable! The sound is sharp and crisp. The microphone seems to have good quality sound as well. They were easy to set up with the downloaded "CORSAIR Utility Engine" software.

Cons: Battery life didn't quite meet expectations, but did last for a long time. Probably around 6 hours of almost non-stop use.

Overall Review: I highly recommend these headsets for PC gaming.

Pros: First of all, the two 50mm neodymium drivers deliver some nice, crisp sound. The bass is good and the highs are excellent. These are probably the best all around headphones that I've tested in this price range. Considering how many headsets I've tested in this price bracket, that is quite impressive. Comfort is absolutely phenomenal with this headset. I would go as far to say it's the most comfortable headset I've worn yet. The thick headband and lightweight design seems to be the key factors here. I also love how there are graduation marks on the headband, which lets you ensure each side is adjusted the same. This keeps the headband perfectly level on your head and I believe that helps with the comfort level. Obviously the flexibility of using either the USB adapter or the standard 3.5mm jack is pure genius. You can use the 3.5mm jack if you want to get the sound strait from your sound card, or if you wanna use the headphones with other common devices like your smartphone or tablet. The USB adapter is required for the virtual 7.1 surround sound though. As always the product came packaged flawlessly. This is something Corsair is known far and wide for. Build quality is superb. The aesthetics are amazing, but this is no surprise from Corsair here. I LOVE how the ear cups fold in for easier storage. I actually hang them on my wall this way and that allows for easy access without them sticking out to be knocked down. To compare the Pro version to the standard version, I can most definitely say the mic has been DRASTICALLY improved. I mean it's night and day from the non-Pro version. They even include a foam cover for it to help make your voice even more clear, but even without it I cannot believe the difference (I did own the non-Pro version so I was able to compare the sound files directly).

Cons: Corsair's CUE software... See, in my opinion Corsair has some of the best hardware in the business. However, their software always leaves something to be desired. The CUE software is required to use the USB adapter (this will bypass your sound card and use the one built into the headset), which in turn is required to use the 7.1 surround sound setting. Note also that the USB adapter is the ONLY way to use the mic, as there is no 3.5mm mic connector. The CUE software is designed to work with so many different devices that Corsair has available right now, so it doesn't feel as if it's taylored for the Void Pro headset as it should be. There is a bunch of bloat that you shouldn't be seeing at all, and in my opinion there are a lot more settings you SHOULD be seeing. Speaking of the 7.1 surround sound setting... It leaves a lot to be desired. In reality, there are only two speakers here, so the 7.1 sound is just virtualized and just not very good. You can indeed get some decent sound over USB, but I recommend disabling the 7.1 setting and tweaking the EQ to your liking. The default settings are way too bland. Some of the preset EQ settings aren't too bad, but you'll want to make your own. To me, the 7.1 surround is a joke and you should always leave it disabled. No LED's? I found myself asking why... I wish they would have at least put in some white LED's, but RGB LED's would be really nice. Corsair didn't spring for LED's at all in this model and that's disappointing. These are very nice looking and could have used just a little RGB action going on perhaps, but they do have a model with that function to be fair...

Overall Review: The clunky CUE software is the main complaint I have with this otherwise great headset. Well, that and the questionable 7.1 setting. But the software is usable (not to mention will get updates) and you can just disable the 7.1 setting to get some great sound. So considering that, plus the fact that these sound great when configured right and are comfortable as can be, I HIGHLY recommend them. Corsair really knows how to make hardware and they demonstrate that here flawlessly.

Overall Review: The headphones can be turned on and off by pressing and holding the power button for 2-3 seconds on the headphones (the USB connected wireless dongle must already be plugged in to the computer). The noise cancellation of the mic works very well I must say. I tested talking with these phones in a room in my house that measured ~41.8 dB in ambient noise and I could hear my mic test play back crystal clear. After gaming for 30 minutes, the headphone battery decreased by 7%. RGB lighting can be tuned with 16 million color options. Can adjust the brightness as well. I experienced zero audio/mic lag since I've been using these, which was one aspect I was worried about with wireless headphones (and with a mic). Between how responsive and well designed the headphones are constructed, lag-less transfer of communication and decent battery life per charge, I'm quite impressed with these! Personally, I'm not into the RGB lighting factor; just drains battery faster and I'm the only one who will see what I'm wearing when I game. You are able to turn it off in settings at any time if you wish. While 10 bands to work with for EQ is sufficient, I guess for me, I would just like to be able to tweak more.

Pros: I am going to start off by saying that these Corsair Gaming Headsets have to be the best on the market, about a 1 year ago I received the Vengeance 2000 Gaming Headset and It has been the absolute best and it is no different for the Corsair Vengeance 1500 v2., now I have the old version of the VOID that came on to the market over a year ago and I liked it so much that I wanted another for my other computer. , and it is the best yet, what a transformation, it is of very good quality "Corsair Quality" I really like the Control Panel with options including "Dolby", Equalizer and Stereo, and 7.1 Surround, the 7.1 Surround really does work, its virtual, but it works so very well. The Microphone seems to be very good and experienced no problems while playing several games online and through Dragon Naturally Speaking. The Microfiber-covered memory foam ear pads and padded headband fit me very nice at one point I have had them on for a solid 3 hours and I had no sore spots and I wear glasses. Tested the Corsair VOID on 3 of my gaming machines and both of my gaming laptops and the VOID worked flawlessly on Win7 USB.3 and USB.2 I love this headset so much i was so excited for weeks after i received this, the quality and the attention to smallest details. The full RGB is awesome, it is totally custom for any color your gaming rig might be, with features like solid, gradient, ripple, and wave, also duel color. The surround sound works excellent! The sound is crisp and clean has great bass and the mic is perfect, it is clear and picks up well. I used this in all different situations gaming, music, movies and this headset excelled beyond my expatiation. The cord is the perfect length for me was not to long like the older generation headsets. The control panel is good and easy to use. It was very comfortable. I wear glasses and i did not feel any pressure even after hours of use.

Cons: When it comes to anything bad to say about the VOID, I cannot think of nothing, it is truly the best Corsair Gaming Headset yet. But the new model sound a little flat compared to last year’s model, but I don’t know why as the spec. are all the same as the old VOID, and the materials are a bit more durable on last years model.

Overall Review: If you had ever had any Corsair Products you know just how good quality Corsair Products are. These headsets are very nice, They are my absolutely favorite, when listing to music, movies , or gaming this is a well-rounded headset and whatever Corsair Headset you choose to go with I am sure you will absolutely love, my personal opinion I might would go with the wireless version, its just my personal preference, I just don't not like cords. Just make sure you go to Corsair's website to get the latest driver, I am having the greatest time with this, sounds so good when playing all the latest games. I tried this headset on most of my pc's my MSI GT72, ASUS G75, and 3 of my custom built gaming rigs and had no problem installing the driver/control panel, The CUE software is great and all your other Corsair RGB products show up in the CUE software and be controlled from in there. The sound is comparable to my Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D and my X-Fi, yes it is that good! The build quality of the VOID is amazing, it’s Corsair Quality! I have lots of Corsair products from power supplies to memory and that's what’s great about these products and their customer service.

Pros: - wireless - great audio - great battery life (beat out my Savi headset which gets the next best life) - comfortable to wear for those epic game fests - included software is solid & provides some great customization - auto-mute when mic boom is raised up

Overall Review: I have an older pair of these cans (rda-3 vs these are the Pro version rda-11) and had a love/hate relationship w/ the prior set. They were great in terms of audio (listening & speaking) but there were some major issues that caused me to hate them. A few of those issues were resolved. For instance when I went out of range on the old cans, i'd have to turn off the headset to reconnect them. This set, when they go out of range, as soon as i'm back in range, they reconnect automatically. Another major issue was my inability to go back & forth from the PC to my OTG (on the go) cable for my phone. These have resolved that issue & I can go back & forth. Some things I do not like, however, are the fact that we've got almost two years of advancement in tech and they're still claiming the measly 40 feet, they need to update or move to a new wireless type. Dect & Bluetooth are both better than 40 feet. For my usage, I primarily use these for gaming. From my basement gaming/home theater PC, I need these headphones for 3 functions. 1 - gaming, 2 - getting another beer/scotch, 3 - emptying my beer/scotch holder. These cans are great for 1 of those 3 function, gaming. When it comes to going upstairs to the kitchen i'm 45 linear feet (up one floor, 5 walls of interference) and they're only rated up to 40, I can understand that I shouldn't expect them to work. OK...i'll take them off, or more lately i've just been bringing the bottle of scotch down w/ me. For using the bathroom, however, i'm 30 linear feet (same floor, 3 walls of interference) and I cannot stay connected. It's a little better than the old cans, because they cut out before i could reach the bathroom. These new cans can actually reach the bathroom, if I stick my head out the door whilst enjoying the go. My wife doesn't tend to appreciate that though. Overall, the cans sound great. I'm not sure that they're really 7.1 surround sound...I can only test up to 5.1 (limited by my choice of games) but I cannot tell a difference between these and other 2.0 headsets in terms of directional noise. I can hear if the baddies are coming from the left or right, but not much more than that! But those two directions do sound great! Oh & the only other thing, I'm not sure what the "Pro" connotation provides...I can't tell any difference between these & my older pair of non-pro cans. Oh part two, there are adjustment notches on the top to show how far you've extended the cans out. Pretty good for dialing in the perfect feel and getting back to it the next time you grab for the cans.

Overall Review: Pretty nice headset for $80. Build quality is good overall, though I question how long the foam padding on the top of the head will last over time. I’ve worn them for four straight hours of gaming, and for a couple of movies, and they are definitely comfortable, but want to slide around a bit, and you get a lot of movement feedback while turning your head (when there isn’t any sound coming through). I’m also bald, so thinking some hair up top might mitigate the movement/idle sound when turning my head. CUE software is easy for the Void RGB, with the breathing RGB being my current setting. The RGB lighting is a non-factor to me, as I can’t see it while in use, but probably pretty cool for most people. I like the easy to locate with your fingers, volume control, as well as the large mute button located right above it. Most impressive area for me is the sound quality. I had previously used my Astro A40’s with a Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatality, and was always really happy with this setup, especially for directional sound in FPS games. I decided to sell the sound card off, as I wasn’t using a headset as often, and had been using my A40’s with the onboard sound (Realtek ALC898). Now that COD WW2 is out, I’ve been back to using a headset again, and was quickly reminded of how much better a good card can make things sound. The Void RGB’s built-in sound processing is far superior to my ears than the onboard + Astro setup – not even close. I can hear distinct voices in rooms again, and the headshots have a nice resonating echo, as well as better overall sound in movies. That’s without tweaking the EQ settings, too. My Astro’s are a great headset, but it just goes to show that you are only as strong as your weakest link. I started gaming in the era of dedicated sound cards being desirable to help gain FPS in games (because of their dedicated processing power), so I hadn’t given a USB headset any love in years. My Astro's + that Creative sound card, were about $350. I wouldn’t be surprised if 95% of the people out there would be just as happy with the Void RGB for $80. Systems are easily powerful enough now that you don’t need the extra boost from a dedicated sound cards processing power, and outside of positional sound (which most people don’t use in games, as it’s all rushing + grenade throwing…), the Void RGB seriously delivers. Outside of being a little loose on my average size bald head, and the USB cable being a little on the short side for where I have my PC setup, the Void RGB gets the job done nicely, and I would recommend them to anyone. Very pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, and overall comfort.
