Consisting of one IR repeater block, one IR receiver, and two dual IR emitters, the C2G 40430 IR repeater kit is designed to extend the reach of the IR signal from your remote control. In situations where your AV components are mounted in a closet or another room without a clear line of sight path for an infrared signal, this kit allows you to operate your AV devices as if they were located right in front of you. Mount the IR receiver in a central location, and connect it to the IR distribution block. This block repeats the signals through emitters to your electronic components. It provides confirmation for reception of IR signals via blinking blue LEDs. An AC adapter is included for out-of-the-box use.

Please Note:

Careful consideration must be used when placing the IR receiver near a plasma display. Since a plasma display emits IR frequencies during use, it may cause interference. At this time, U-Verse cable boxes are not compatible.

Self-Contained packageIncludes one IR repeater block, one IR receiver, two dual IR emitters, and an AC adapter. You may mount a receiver in a convenient place on or near your entertainment system. The receiver has a 9-foot cable that is then attached to the repeater system that is mounted in your entertainment cabinet. The kit includes four emitters. These emitters are connected to the repeater system and placed over the IR receiver of the equipment. The IR repeater is designed for mounting on a shelf or wall.
ExpandableThe IR repeater block features a total of six emitter jacks to control as many as twelve devices. Two dual IR emitters are included for control of four components.
Reception IndicatorThe IR receiver and IR repeater have blinking blue LEDs to confirm reception of the IR signal.
