The Bose Bass Module 700 is a wireless subwoofer for Bose Soundbar 700, Soundbar 500, and SoundTouch 300 owners who want deeper, more impactful bass for movies, TV, and music, with a premium glass-top finish for a polished home theater setup.
Recommended For
- Owners of a compatible Bose soundbar who want more low-frequency impact in action movies and TV without replacing the soundbar; the module is designed to add bass to Bose systems.
- Bose soundbar owners who listen to bass-forward music and want a separate module to add low-end weight while keeping their existing system.
- People expanding a compatible Bose home-theater setup who prefer a wireless connection from the soundbar to the bass module instead of running a signal cable across the room.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- When watching action films, pair the module with a compatible Bose soundbar to add more weight to rumbles, impacts, and explosions; the soundbar continues to handle dialogue.
- When streaming music, use the module to give bass lines and kick drums more presence alongside a compatible Bose soundbar, with bass and treble adjustable to suit your listening preferences.
- If TV sound from a compatible Bose soundbar feels light on low frequencies, add the module for more depth in soundtracks and effects; it is a bass upgrade, not a replacement for the soundbar’s dialogue.
- When building a Bose home-theater setup, pair the module with a compatible soundbar and optional Bose surround speakers: the module adds low-frequency effects, while the surround speakers provide rear-channel sound.
- For a room with several listening positions, a compatible Bose setup can use a second Bass Module 700 to help make bass more consistent across the listening area; check the soundbar’s connection requirements before adding one.
