Cons: Does not come with soft ear tips, proprietary charging plug, picks up fingerprints quickly
Overall Review: The BlackBerry V1x appears to be nothing more than a black version of the V1. The commands are the same, the battery life, range, sound quality and functionality are identical. I got it to replace my old V1 which went through the washing machine and I prefer black over the regular gray color. The sound quality is good and the voice isolation works well. when driving a convertible at 65 mph people only hear a little wind noise, no more than most earpieces. It shipped with the latest firmware so I haven't needed to update it yet although my old V1 updated without problems. All in all if color doesn't matter stick with the V1 and save a few bucks, but if you want black then spend the extra $$. The name is a bit misleading as it has nothing to do with the Blackberry phone and has no features other than the standard V1, it paired with both my iPhone and Blackberry without issue although it doesn't support multi-connection BT yet....
