Overall Review: I bought a new car and found it had a USB connector for the radio installed inside the center armrest. This USB cord is about 3 inches long and hardwired. I really enjoy using a thumb drive for my music, and I think it is great that it does not need to be sticking out of the dash. We now keep three drives in the armrest for me, the wife and the kid. They get unplugged at least 10 times a week. With the original cord bieng hardwired when it fails that won't be pleasant, so I figured I would needed an extension, and assumed it would be at least a few feet long. These are perfect. repeated connections will wear these out, but if I get a year out of them then the factory cord will have 10 connections in 10 years. The short cord does not clutter up the armrest. If you have the same situation get these. Even in a computer case you have other USB ports if one wears out, and rarely keep a computer 10 years. In my car I have one and hope to keep it at least 10 years.

Overall Review: These are perfect to leave permanently plugged into the front of your PC. Constant plugging and unplugging of flash drives can wear out and break a USB plug. That's what happened to me. Not any more if you use this. What would you rather break - a $9 cable or a $150 PC case? Duh!

Overall Review: Good build quality, length was as advertised. Nice chunky connectors, doesn't have that stupid, ugly, protruding female connector flaring out like some other cables - instead the female connector is totally encased by the connector housing. It's a USB 2.0 cable that I'm using for peripherals, since I didn't want to run them through a hub and possibly introduce latency. Not really much to say about the quality of the connection (data transfer rates, etc), it's not a concern so I haven't tested them. If you're buying this product in 2020 with the intent to transfer files, you're doing it wrong. In short, it's a cable. Hasn't given me any issues so far.

Pros: These cables were very useful for extending my keyboard and mouse cables.
