Pros: - 100% compatible with my Google Pixel 3a XL smartphone. I saw another reviewer claiming this cable is incompatible. That's not true. He/she obviously has some type of USB hardware port problem. This cable works perfectly fine with the Pixel 3a XL on multiple mobo's from Asus, AsRock, & Gigabyte - Thick beefy cable. About 33% thicker than my old Nexus 6 USB 2.0 to Micro-USB cable. - Seems well made. Saw random complaints of connectors falling off. I don't see that EVER happening unless you're a careless person and tend to YANK your cables out by the cord.
Cons: - None so far
Overall Review: I'm using this cable primarily as a charging cable for my Pixel 3a XL. As such, I have no clue if the stated transfers speeds are possible as my phone can't handing 5Gbps data transfers. The Pixel is a rated as a USB 2.0 device, but it fully supports the USB 3.0 Fast Charging standards 5V/3A (15W) / 9V/2A (18W). When this cable is plugged into my mobo's USB 3.1 port, my Pixel reports it's "Fast Charging" which means it's charging a 5V/3A (15W). The only way to get it to charge at 9V/2A (18W) is to use the high-powered A/C wall wart supplied with the phone. When this cable is plugged into my mobo's USB 2.0 port, my Pixel reports it's "Charging Slowly" which means it's charging at the 5V / .9A (4.5W). This is correct as the max power output for USB 2.0 is .9 amps. This cable seems well made. This cable seems durable (but only time will tell). And most importantly, this cable charges my smartphone correctly & safely at the correct power profiles as defined by the "USB PowerDelivery rev. 2.0/3.0 Source Power" specs.
